Carnegie Deli

A great deli in the New York or Chicago neighbourhood style. The corned beef Rueben is delicious, but gets only four stars as the corned beef could have been a slight bit more moist. The portions are incredible, so bring your beloved and share (bring a friend or grab someone and make a nrw random friend if a beloved isn't an option). Eating an entire sandwich yourself will lead simultaneously to happiness and regret. Try the cherry cheesecake for a late night snack. You will no doubt be hungry after a night of Vegas partying and will need a sugar rush.

I really find there to be no reason to go to the Mirage other than Carnegie Deli and get on almost every trip to Vegas I find myself coming there. The open faced Reuben is a must along with French fries. If you aren’t gluttonous like me then you can easily share the sandwich for a total of roughly $20 but if you want the real experience then devour it on your own. Sad it’s no longer in New York. Thrilled it’s still an option in Vegas.

Corn beef meat was good but as a part of the Ruben sandwich what was lacking was enough Russian dressing. Treating this as an open faced sandwich is an odd choice but then roasting the cheese until it is crispy doesn’t jive with my desire or expectations of what a Ruben should or could be. Your Milage may vary but know this going in. I also ordered a slice or carrot cake. It tasted like a refrigerator and the sides of slice were both dried out and crusty. I would appear that they cut these slices ahead of time and let them dry out. If you get past the dry and crumbly cake it tasted okay but the frosting was not a cream cheese based as I would have expected. Just the sandwich (no sides) and a slice of carrot cake were over $30 so I have a higher expectation for quality that sadly was not met. You can do better other places and generally I would not recommend this place.

Carnegie Deli

Great assortment of New York fresh foods. I loved my club sandwich and my parents both enjoyed soup with matzo balls. It was a nice change from all the fast food you usually see around the Las Vegas strip!!

Carnegie Deli

Huge sandwiches - wow. We had a beef sandwich and it was a struggle getting that taste meal down. Go there hungry cause you will not leave there feeling that way. Cost is reasonable and the service is diner style. Nice place

I had the meatloaf. It was pretty good and very good portions. The help was pretty fast at getting the food. I thought it was decent for a hotel spot.

Very good food. I would definitely stop by. We ate here for breakfast and lunch both were amazing. The corn beef sandwich and Woody Allan were amazing. The April special is a pastrami stuffed bread bowl with a fried egg. If you can make it in to try this I would definitely recommend. It was very good.

Carnegie Deli

The sandwiches are fine, nothing phenomenal. The price is high because of the portion sizes, but the quality isn't anything to write home about. The pastrami was pretty good, the turkey pretty dry. We split our $22 sandwich which was more than enough for two adults. It took over 5 minutes from paying to getting our drinks which was annoying, but the servers were clearly rushing between tables to get to everyone.

Carnegie Deli

The food was decent, but way over priced. In terms of value, you will probably leave feeling you got ripped off. I would not eat here again because there are other options that are better value. And better NY deli sandwiches on the strip.
