One of my favorites... on my monthly restaurant loop of places I eat regularly. Love the cheeseburger special of course, but the beef chow mein is my favorite! Enough for two meals, an Asian American (not authentic Chinese) style Casino Classic dish straight out of the 1950's, easily as good or better than used to be served at the Desert Inn.
You get typical casino 24 hour restaurant service here, they don't move fast so be patient! You WILL get your turn...but it is a turn. Ask for everything you need upfront because you won't see your server again. This is how it works in this town, deal with it.
Best on off hours.
Stick with the hamburger special. The coffee is good and the pastries are okay. Late night servers are wonderful. They do have a limited menu with special pricing for player card holders.
Don’t order the Asian food though. Quite possibly the worst Chinese food I’ve ever had. The Kung Pao tasted like sweet and sour. The other dish was heavy on the corn starch. If you want good Asian food, go to Chinatown 5 minutes away.
The buffet is better.
It took close to ten minutes before our server came to our both. Keep in mind the restaurant had about 1/4 filled. I asked for water w/ lemons on the side in which I received however the lemons were given to us in a container that had a curdled substance like sour milk in the bottom in it. I wanted to leave but the kids were hungry and the feast buffet had closed for renovations. The kids eat only something quick and easy to tie them over.
I was really impressed with the food, service, and prices. I live in close proximity. I also love the fact that they stay open 24/7. The garlic fries are to die for. Only thing I thought could have been better, was the home made ranch dressing. It was watered down. Please keep it thicker, because that kinda killed it for me.
The only reason to go here is if you're staying at the hotel without a car. The prices are cheaper if you eat there rather than ordering through room service. They apply a service charge to take out orders. The food is uninspired.

Terrible experience from beginning to end. Long lines to get in and get out. Not because they were busy but because they are unorganized. Didn’t have coffee cups, our coffee was served in paper cups. Said they have limited cups?? Then every condiment is watered down....even the syrup. They don’t have individual jelly, you have to ask for it and they bring it in a container. You could also hear a circus going on in the kitchen. Probably why the food sucked too. I will never return.
Cheap eats, fast and friendly service, nice portion sizes. The booth we originally sat in was so uncomfortable and unsupportive so the hostess promptly moved us to a table. The food is decent and very affordable and the staff was very accommodating. Will be back.
On Thanksgiving turkey was very good but great beans and yams were ice cold. Put butter on and it wouldn't melt? And 4get the pie. Factory made w dried up hard crust. Horrible. C'mon Cafe it's 2017. Get w it.All these coffee shops and desert cases ALL CARRY THE EXACT SAME THING WITH 8 PERFECT WEDGES OF CHEESECAKE that no human could cut.
My favorite breakfast spot in Vegas! I always take people here. It's more of a local find because Palace Station is off of the strip. The portions are giant and the prices are excellent, would highly recommend.
Food was okay. I got the loco Moco. It's rice covered with a hamburger patty, gravy, onions, and eggs however you like it. It's very filling. The tip is try the late night menu after 11pm. Same portions bit better prices.
My brother and I ate here for breakfast.
It was only $2.99 for 2 eggs, 2 bacon, toast, and hashbrowns! Best deal in Vegas!
Our waiter Michael was awesome too! He was very friendly and gave excellent customer service!
I would definitely visit this place for their $2.99 all day breakfast again!
Loved the breakfast selection and sandwiches for snacks at the cafe. The servers were very friendly and we felt right at home. I would not hesitate to sample the Grand Cafe fare again. Delicious.
