Rooms were newish and clean. The biggest issue I had was noise and people entering my room when. I was in there. I could here the room next to me clear as can be and heard all of their conversations and as you can imagine being in Vegas the we're interesting to say the least. I also had maids on two occasions enter my room. First at 8:30 in the morning knocking then opening the door right away giving no time to respond. It was a good thing I was awake. They second time they entered through the joining door which I thought was extremely odd. This was well before checkout and I'm sure during hours a lot of people are still asleep. Besides that the room was better than expected.

I went to palace station to go eat at oyster bar before we left to come back to Los Angeles. I always come here when I visit Vegas and never disappoint me in any way. I love their oyster as a starter and have clam chowder and love their pan roast. It's creamy and love the spicy level. I would recommend this place to everyone.

The oyster bar is a must have every time I visit. Top 3 of my favorite places to eat. It lets you know something when you go to eat there and usually meet someone who lives in Vegas. I just wish this place was bigger and had room for more people.

I was advised to try the best buffet at Palace Station and I went for lunch before my flight out. The food was hot and there was a good selection. There is renovations ongoing and they had a few hard hat specials. Overall great experience.

Favorite oyster bar in town is located inside this Hotel and Casino! The other ones just don't compare. The wait can be pretty long sometimes, but it's worth it. They started renovating the casino and it's starting to look less and less like the Palace Station I remember when I was younger. It DOES look nicer and more in line with the style of casinos that you see on the strip though. Currently as of June /2018, they are still renovating parts of the casino. So some places may not be open.

Forced to stay here many times for work-related conferences. Definitely an older crowd. No good bars here. Extremely smoky. Restaurants all average. Clean rooms. Pool ok. I would never stay here unless compelled to. Staff seems good however.

Attending a professional conference over a week. Hotel staff is very easy to work with, restaurants and buffet have a good selection of meals. Hotel rooms are well equipped and very open. Only downside I have discovered is the walking distance between the rooms and conference center. Lastly, the front desk staff are very friendly and I was able to work with them on an issue, with a fantastic outcome.

Visited the Oyster Bar for a late night meal. Waited in line just a little more than an hour, which was expected. love this place I had the half dozen oysters and Gumbo fully loaded level 6. My friend had the Pan Roast, level 5. Meal was delicious. Noticed the face of the hotel has been worked on since last we visited Vegas. Nice to see they are modernizing the look.

I've loved coming to this casino since my ex and I came here for a week vacation 4 years ago. It's not upscale but it's not a dump so it makes you feel comfortable to just go and enjoy yourself without worrying about looking out of place. Staff in casino and hotel have always been helpful and polite. And the games are always being updated and fun to choose from since they have a decent variety. I definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a carefree vacation or just a night out gambling.

Their buffet offers affordable Sunday dinner pricing at $11.99 with player's card. The atmosphere was somewhat lacking as it felt very generic and cafeteria style with nothing of interest to note. However the bonus of this buffet is the breathable air. It's located on the second level, away from the main casino floor, so there's no cigarette smoke while you eat! The food offerings are varied and taste fresh.

We went to Palace Station because years ago they had a restaurant called Pasta Palace that we had visited several times. Alas, times change and it no longer exists, but we are the the current restaurant and although no longer an upscale place, was worth going. 24 hour breakfast. Full menu of sandwiches, steaks, Asian dishes, etc. The 4 of us got a wide variety. The restaurant is old and could use an update and cleaning, but food was good and drinks were cold. This casino and restaurant can't compare to the latest and the greatest, but for a good meal in a relaxed setting and very good prices, I can overlook some of the shabbyness and give it a 4.

This was our last stop before heading to the airport, and it was worth the wait. My friend and I stood in line for about an hour when we arrived at 11 am. The smells of butter and spices are alluring and enticing as your stand in anticipation. When we were seated, the service was highly efficient. No time is wasted because everyone behind the bar is used to endless chaos. I ordered the "secret menu item" that combines bouillabaisse and their signature pan roast. The stew was rich, creamy, and spicy. It was overflowing with a variety of fresh seafood as well. This was definitely worth the stop.

Palace Station is my favorite hotel to stay at when I come to Vegas. I was upgraded to a suite when I booked my stay. I came in for a operation and they made sure I was more than comfortable. The suites are luxurious and larger than most suites you'll find in other hotels. The view to the Las Vegas strip is awesome at night time! The manager on duty was very helpful in helping me find all the amenities needed for my stay. I truly love staying at the Palace Station!

We were caught by the nostalgia of the outside, so we walk into this amazing entry. They were busy so there was no room in the tower. We were asked did we want down stairs or an upstairs room "close" to the cassino entrance. We picked upstairs. We walk through the cassino then pass the sliding glass doors through an ally to a secondary hotel. I have never entered a place this dingy, but still I was hopeful because we picked this place specifically because it was older. So I wasnt expecting a lot. Once we got to our room, a horrible smell almost like something was decomposing captured us as our feet were sticking to the floor on the tile entry of the room. There was toilet paper on the floor in the bathroom, smallest shower ever and the drain looked as if it was pryed out. There was "food" particals on the desk area, beyond dusty. All the vents had, not been cleaned and had gunk built up. There was only like a white sheet covering the bed, not a comforter of any type. Then we noticed where the dresser/ tv area is the rug had been cut out and replaced in a obvious way.you almost felt like you would trip on it. We spent apx 2 min in the room. We asked for a refund how ever it is still pending. We literally left Las Vegas and stayed at a seedy motel 6 because we were so tired. It was cleaner then this place!!!! We travel a lot and I have never HATED a place!!! I will never ever go back to Vegas. That's says allot because we gamble.

I visited Las Vegas last weekend, January 14 - 17 2016 and stayed at the Palace Station. I have to say the staff was outstanding. The room was small but I didn't intend to be there except to sleep. The rooms were spotless every time we came back in the evening. Great Service and the room staff (?) was a hoot to talk to. All great people. Now for the restaurant in the hotel. The Hostess was so good to us and took the time to make us feel welcome and always had this charming smile and she was sincerely happy to make us happy. I want her for my sister~! There was a new waitress those days but she was poised and treated us very well. She was fun to talk to even when I couldn't make up my mind what to have for breakfast. She always had hot coffee for us :) The lady training the new waitress was charming and took the time to make sure we were well cared for. We decided to eat there as often as we could because it was just a great place to eat and the staff became more like family. Good job you guys. If I get back to Vegas I will stay at the Palace Station just because of the staff at the restaurant.. Sincerely Ed C.

Let me just start off with saying this establishment is the biggest excuse for a hotel. Don't let the outside or the entrance of this hotel full you. We booked our reservation three months ahead of time. We were told where our room was located and headed for it. With tired legs and a family we were exhausted. As we walked out the sliding glass doors to the so called "court yard" we then realized it was a completely different building. (not shown in the pictures on the website) As we walked into the doors we smelt a strong marijuana odor. We continued to walk forward where we were greeted by a hotel employee. He pointed us the our room. He then noticed our faces were filled with disgust and started telling us stories. He began with telling us a disturbing story to graphic to display with words. We then rushed back to the front desk asking for some type of compensation. The manager came out threatening us for the employees name. If you are coming to Vegas with a family I highly recommend to stay as far away as you possibly can. Don't even set your eyes on this place.
