Silver Legacy is always a blast. Lovely rooms, great view of the city, and everything is so convenient in the row. Staff is friendly and helpful, not to mention prompt! I come here every year or two years, and I'm never disappointed. They recently added restaurants to at least silver legacy and circus circus domains, which is great to have for variety. My boyfriend and I we're sick the weekend we stayed, and were so lucky to have a variety of food close so we didn't have to brave the blizzard! Thank you, Silver Legacy!

Good place to stay, comfortable and spacious rooms, lots of restaurants in the vicinity, casino next to the lobby, and friendly staff. All of this at a great price! The check in process was effortless, and the staff was helpful and courteous. However, there are no refrigerators or microwaves in the room (which would be expected at this price range), so keep that in mind. Definitely not a deal breaker though.

We went to see a show last night, and it was a great time! Silver Legacy has a very nice venue for concerts. The seats are comfortable. We played a few slots. They don't have as many generic games as I see in other casinos!

I stay here every 2 years as I fly out of Reno after Christmas at Lake Tahoe. The service is wonderful and there is so much to do. Tons of restaurants and the buffet is amazing. I hope to keep coming back for years to come. The historical displays are amazing. Highly recommended.

The parking garage was extremely confusing and tight. The hotel was beautiful and the staff went above and beyond to make sure everything was just right. Very safe feeling as well. Great amenities and atmosphere. Beds were very comfortable and the rooms were spacious, clean and well maintained.

We love staying at this casino hotel! We really like that there are three hotels hooked together. We usually don't leave the place while we are there. Nice rooms! Great food! Will definitely keep coming back!

This is a very large and busy casino hotel. This hotel is right on the middle Reno and there is several places inside the main area to shop, eat, gamble, drink, and see some entertainment. This is primarily an adult orientated hotel. There is not a lot of elderly people nor families. The hotel suits all walks of life, but the primary group for this hotel casino is adult groups or couples looking for an inexpensive but lively stay in Reno. TL;DR Good for adult groups or couples. Has good diner, entertainment, and gambling opinions. Inexpensive, but not too cheap. In the middle of Reno and it is close to several bars. 4/5 starts.

We ate at Sterling Steakhouse. They have one of the best menu items we have ever had. It is called a vegetable Napoleon, and we are told that is one of the most popular items on the menu. Pretty soon this Steakhouse will become a Ruth's Chris Steakhouse, but we were told that they are going to keep the vegetable Napoleon among some other dishes. We are very excited about that. If you get the chance to go there order this dish you will not be disappointed

The service was great! Staff are so friendly and attentive. Small talk and warm greetings and the drinks kept coming!! The food was great! Everything we ate was DELICIOUS! The rooms were clean, spacious and had a great view of the mountains. The hotel is also a short walk to the Reno sign which was cool for a quick photo op. Beware of about $30 of extra fees.

We came there after Lake Tahoe..just casino hopping. My time spent at Silver Legacy was fun. It was a unique resort and casino. Beautiful in and out. However, the odds of winning at any of the tables were not as great. I wished they had more open blackjack table available.

Overall it's a pretty nice place to stay. Great hotel service and good food. Perfect, except the parking. Hard for me to find a self parking space. Not because too many cars in the parking structure, it was because half of building were reserved for valet, and half of the valet space is empty.

I spent 4 days here. I'm not a betting person so I didn't lose much money, about 12 bucks. This is a large Casino complex and hotel. It is busy on the weekends and not so much during the weekdays. The rooms were large and comfortable clean and well maintained. A variety of restaurants available. I ate at the Asian combination restaurant, it was good for breakfast and lunch. I ate at the sushi Japanese Mexican restaurant, and enjoyed it and enjoyed the food. I had sushi. The best restaurant for my money brew pub. I look forward to going back to the Brew Pub.

Silver Legacy has to be one of the top, most well rounded casino's in northern Nevada. The food, service, amenities, cleanliness, location and comps are all second to none. I would wholeheartedly recommended this place to all my friends and family. And I felt this way until after months of taking pictures and giving these reviews security very rudely told me they didn't care why I was taking pictures I had to stop or be 86'd. Meaning I have been working too promote a place with no regard for my status as a customer, a reviewer or a local. I am almost done ever coming here again for as much as what was said but also for the aggressive stance taken against a legitimate question any American citizen should be able to ask. So if you come here please leave your rights and curiosity at home for they are not welcome here.

This review is based purely on the the people in charge of the box office will call. They were pretty mean. My husband had lost his ticket for a concert and they did not let him in. I understand some people might lie, but my husband did have a ticket, and they shouldn’t have treated him like he’s a liar. They saw him earlier too when we picked up our tickets at will call. Luckily, I was able to meet him later and bring him in because I had my receipt. He missed the first few songs though, which shouldn’t have happened had they provided better customer service. Could have been a much better experience.

The interior decor was a beautiful mixture of elegant and functional in the sense of the silver mining theme. Me and my grandmother went and had lunch at Millie 24, which seemed to focus more on the elegant part of things, which seems to be par for the course of most casinos I've been in here in Reno. The food wasn't the greatest that I've ever had, but it wasn't exactly garbage either. The waiters were very polite, though sometimes a little pushy. Overall, I enjoyed my meal and visit to the Silver Legacy, and look forward to coming back.

The hotel rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. The bathroom were in need of new fixtures but the shower heads were good with instant hot water for a nice shower. I really disliked the shower curtains and old bath mats they had to lay in the bathtub. Standard TV mode had about 15 local stations. The movies were $19.99. No refrigerators in the rooms. Small coffeemaker for a couple cups coffee in the AM. The lobby was displaying antique silver pieces and decorated in old fashion furniture. There was only two receptionist for a long line of people on a Friday evening to check in guest. Great coffee shop with pastries and muffins for breakfast by the lobby.

I've been a guest there for over a decade. Great staff, good room rates. Unfortunately, ever since "Club One" was started (player card system) and new management took over, customers have been somewhat slapped in the face, and the employees are not treated very well. They seem to hire managers who have never worked in the field they are trying to manage, and do not listen to the people that work for them. Don't get me wrong; it's not a bad place to stay. It used to be a GREAT place to stay, and it's sad to see it going downhill.

I recently stayed with the silver legacy and i must say, all around that place is fantastic. I won gambling, not much but a lot to me. I received a very warm welcome from all of the staff and the rooms are fantastic. The great location of downtown Reno also got them a 2 thumbs up from myself. Fun fun fun.

Very nice place. Good restaurants and atmosphere. Great for families because you can visit three hotels including Circus Circus without going outside. Walking around and soaking up the atmosphere is nice with a little bit of History involved. You can get to the arcade at Circus Circus which is nice. They have free acrobatic shows. Just be prepared prepared to spend some money if you have the kids with you or if you're a big kid yourself.

Went to see Jim Jefferies on February 20th, 2016. Sound was great. Staff were friendly and helpful. Cocktail waitresses, while gambling beforehand, were very nice, and Misty even offered to walk us to the event when we asked her where it was so that we could leave on time. (I also got a blackjack each time she came to our table, so she's good luck, too!) And of course, Jim Jefferies was awesome!

My girlfriend and I stayed here over the Valentine's day weekend. Our experience started off a little rocky. Over the phone, I had upgraded our room to a spa suite from a luxury ski package room. Our original room included ski tickets to Mt. Rose, but when we upgraded it did not include these. I mentioned this to the assistant manager at the check-in desk (9:30 pm 2/12/16), she didn't seem to care nor did not do anything to make us feel better about our stay. I understand it was not her bad, but hotels usually try to do something to make you feel good after you were disappointed. Luckily, the bell desk and concierge Kylea made up for the lack of service at the check-in counter. They worked as a team to take my Valentine's day decorations (Roses, candles, etc.) and Kylea beautifully set everything up and even created a rose petal heart on the bed. This made my girlfriend's night, which made me very happy! Thank you bell desk and Kylea for helping make this weekend into a weekend we will cherish the rest of our lives!

Pay $200 for the jacuzzi 700 square foot room. Had to call maintenance to come fix the TV. The coffee maker in the bathroom did not work. There was a tube of body scrub used as the bubble maker in the jacuzzi. I woke up about 6:30 in the morning hungry, went down to the 24-hour cafe to go counter and the hostess huffed and puffed about taking my order. So I told her forget it went back upstairs and went to bed. That was Thanksgiving Day. I love paying for s***** service. It seems every time I stay at the Silver Legacy the experience is worse and worse. It seems as if some people forget how to earn their paychecks, they keep getting paid though. The room is on the 30th floor, the view was amazing. Security was nice. Makes me sad Silver Legacy used to be my favorite place in Reno!
