Affordable rooms, good amenities, and excellent convention facilities. Missed a star because when I arrived my first night, I was put in a smoking room despite reserving no smoking. They said they were out of no smoking rooms They switched me out the next day, but it was still a very uncomfortable night.

The Tropicana is a great hotel. Reminiscent of old Las Vegas. Everyone is nice. Valet is still free except on game days. One of the few original hotels on the strip. The only thing I miss are the tropical birds that used to be inside. It would be great to bring them back.

Great City! Keep your GPS up when driving, allot of quick turns. Don't turn down Las Vegas blvd (the strip) by mistake. If so you will be in for a world of traffic! But definitely see the sites!

Very relaxing casino. Doesn't smell like smoke. Captain's chairs at every table and slot. Very bright and happy inside. No kids running around. A gambler's casino. Pool is currently being renovated as of 01/05/2019.

Spacious hotel room with large bathroom. Bed was comfortable enough achieved with extra pillows. Outlet available next to lamp for easy phone charging. Water in shower took longer than 60 seconds to heat up but pressure made up for it.

Decent hotel for the cost. We liked that it was a Double Tree to get our Hilton Honors points. Housekeeping was very very friendly and the pool is very nice. The buffet was reasonably priced for breakfast and the omelette station was very friendly. However, when we arrived at the hotel, our non-smoking room reeked of marijuana. We had to go back down and switch rooms which was kind of a hassle without any apologies. Another con was that the pool was closed due to bees and the only other pool we were able to swim in was the M which is 20 minutes away.

If you are looking for a smaller hotel and casino this is a great option. Starbucks is located inside as well as multiple areas to get a lower cost snack or meal. Robert Irvine’s is a nice place for lunch or dinner and the casino isn’t overwhelming in size. The room quality is satisfactory for the cost. The pool area has nice landscaping and a quiet place to relax. You can enjoy breakfast on the patio overlook the gardens.

This hotel casino is a lot less crowded than the other hotels casinos making it nice if you're there to gamble. The rooms were also clean and offered a good view from the top floor. The gym was a bit hard to find but offers a great overview of the pool area. Which is also a cool set up. This is a good hotel to stay at.

I stayed at this establishment a number of times and my stay has always been marvelous. Room service is amazing and so is housekeeping. Tropicana has so much to offer their guests it's amazing. I went to the beach cafe and oh my God you're eating by a waterfall it was so exclamation that I recommend everyone to go here. You're also gaining when you're gambling as well. Make sure you get the Tropicana card because if you're a frequent visitor like myself you will benefit from it in so many ways.

It was actually nice I like the interior in the inside the outside was absolutely beautiful coated with white painting. I'd like it better if the grass is real right in the front where the outside is but I guess they have to be conservative with water. They have really nice gambling themes. And I enjoyed watching sports while attending a social event.

Tropicana is a beautiful original Vegas hotel. It isn't nearly as flashy as the other ones you think of when you think about Vegas, but the character is all there. I stayed in a standard room for a business conference and although it was VERY standard, it was still an amazing room. The food in the hotel is amazing and the views of the MGM and the NY NY across the street were magnificent. Great first trip to Vegas and I would totally stay here again.

The Tropicana is a very classic looking casino. It has a very 80's vibe to it, which I like. The electronic dance festival was happening the week we were there, which meant a ton of kids wearing practically nothing were running around acting like you might expect. Not the hotels fault, but still made it less enjoyable. I don't think I would stay here just because it is so far away from the action of the strip.

The hotel was fine but nothing special. The beds were pretty comfortable and our view was awesome. We went to the pool and got there right when it opened, if we had been there later it would've been impossible to find seating. The little Italian breakfast place in the hotel was average at best and crazy overpriced. The staff was all very friendly though, and everything was kept really clean. Overall it was a fine experience but I probably wouldn't stay there again.

Much nicer than expected. And I mean no disrespect! But I know this is an older hotel. The room is very nice though! Would definitely stay here again. Close to the Monorail right at MGM too!

What a really nice and classy hotel. Everything in here is White. I love the layout. The back area and pool side looks really nice. Love the trees out there. The front desk lady was nice and very helpful. I highly recommend staying here. Great location too!!

Good food, but the slots have gotten a lot tighter since the last time we were here. But then again, it's been awhile, too. Just make sure you've got it to lose if you plan on gambling on the strip!! Not only that, but things have gotten pretty expensive, too. Definitely not the Vegas of old. However the service is impeccable, second to none. And the sights are something to behold.

This hotel has an excellent location on the strip, and best of all, free parking. The entertainment here was fabulous. Went to the Rich Little show at the Laugh Factory there and I have to say that it was one of the best shows I have seen on my many trips to Las Vegas. Rich is an icon in my book and I was impressed that he met with and took pictures with all audience members. True class at one iconic Vegas hotels.

I’ll start with the good. Room was nice had a bungalow king with balcony. Okay view. Bed was Comfy room clean. The casino it’s self is dated and could use some upgrades but overall was fine. Now the bad. We booked this hotel specifically because it was a VIP+ Hotel via Expedia. That was supposed to entail a comp room upgrade, and some other bonuses such as 2/1 drinks and food. We received none of that. On top of that as Hilton honours member was never brought up and did not receive our cookies. Not the end of the world. The check in clerk when we asked about upgrading said this is the room you booked this is what you get. We have no other rooms available. Which was false. As we could go on there website and book any better rooms they had. We did revive an email from the hotel saying they were going to fix up our issues but, that did not happen before we checked out.

Horrible!!! The asian supervisor in the front desk so very rude! The old lady with short hair. She had no idea about temporary driver license. How can she became a supervisor! Stupid as hell! I had to get new driver license before we go to Vegas. Because we moved and the address have changed. I got temporary license. I get thought airline and airport checked just fine but when I get to the hotel. I showed her my license she said she needs real driver license. She was acting so rude. No smile. Act like she own the hotel! She said "Can I see your real license? I said "This is real license it printed from the government office" And she look at me and look at my picture. She said "You don't look like person in the picture" then she walked away take my license to copy. I was like "WTF!" me and my husband just look at each other. We about to go stay somewhere else but the lady in the front desk is way more nicer than her. Talk to us nice and know how to solve the problem. So I said "It's ok we will never come back here again. Have so many hotels around here that we really like!" Do not recommend! Hotel look old. The room look ok. I don't know how they get 4 star from.

It's a zero star from me. Worst customer service.Sonja, the manager was very rude. She was called to deal with me, my name was on the reservation. But she didn't want to address me, instead she was explaining things to my friend whose name wasn't on the room. She was horrible and knew nothing about customer service. I was very unpleased. I wouldn't recommend anyone to stay there. Rooms are dirty and outdated and very poor service.

Pretty nice place to stay in Vegas. I'm an HHonors guest and got a nice upgrade which is always nice. The view was awesome and the room was perfect for our weekend getaway. Lots of construction in the hotel which is nice to see they are improving it.

Rooms feel a little dated. Breakfast for Hilton diamond members was inedible this morning (egg in a bun) - a bit like McDonald's with more grease. Will go elsewhere for the remainder of the trip. In the room there was plenty of space. Beds were comfortable. Limited space in the wardrobe. No real 'extras' in the room - no bath gown or slippers. Infract the only extras were coffee and water. Would be good if there was a towel hook closer to the shower so you don't have to drip across the bathroom. I stayed in the Paradise Tower which is next to the MGM / New York-New York, so there's convenient access to the Strip. All in all, I'll probably stay at one of the bigger hotels if I'm in Vegas again.
