Great Marina, the City of Sparks knocked outta the Park with this one. Parking could be a little bit better, however they did an excellent job with everything else. Highly recommended, great place for Family, Friends and children.

Well lit 2 mile concrete walkway encircles the water. Great for running, walking, or bicycling. Peaceful and scenic during the evening hours and bustling with activities like BBQs, volleyball and kayaking during daylight.

Sparks Marina Park is pretty big, peaceful, beautiful, and mostly well kept (except for the unfortunately inevitable bird droppings) It does get somewhat crowded with people at times, but it's usually not bad (and generally the people there are nice). It's a pleasant place to walk, there are some benches and tables, and an enclosed dog park. I've never needed to use the restrooms there so i'm sorry i haven't any comment on their condition.

Great public park! Kind of a fun history as well of how it came to be. The walk around the edge is very nice and it has a little riviera feel at the east end. You can get access to the Legends Mall from the east end, and the south side borders the highway, so I would avoid it if you are walking. We walked through some geese, who were hissing at us. We also saw a heron? bird, it was really cool looking. Also got chased by a chipmunk. There were fish jumping as well. It was fun! Great place to be.

The park has a nice path following the edge of the marina perfect for running, walking, or biking (skating is a little iffy with amount of goose/duck poop around but it is a large water spot so water fowl is expected) the little dog park area is nice and good place to let your pup run free and play in the water. It is 2 miles of scenic walks with a few spots along the way worth stopping to enjoy.

Lovely spot. A little hot in the day, but at night, beautiful. Great place to bring your dog, or get some exercise and fresh air. Also right next time the shopping center.

Love coming to this park, but lately there's been so many trash laying around. Especially in the water. Would give it a five star, but it has to be cleaner. People need to pick up after themselves and their animals to. The water isn't a trash can.

Early summer evening is especially nice to go less crowded nice breezes cooler than daytime. Relaxing time to be together and just spend quality time together. The park has many things to do during the day also but early evening is my favorite time

Great lakeside circuit walk for seniors and kids. Flat wide sidewalks all around. Slightly under 2 miles unless you include the peninsula. Good for runners. Triathlon and Tour Du Monde cyclists please stay away. Instead use our wonderful river trail which runs for miles.

I love all the improvements they've been making lately. The best part about this park is they have an awesome dog park area. I highly recommend this part if you have a dog that loves the water. Or squirrels they have so much fun walking to the dog park because squirrels hide in the rocks and the dogs just get so happy

It is a great place to bike ride with the family! It's not strenuous, it's beautiful and not too crowded. We feel safe bringing all of our kids.

The park is the place to be during the summer. It has access to the mall, as well as some beautiful sunsets. Many people bring their children here to enjoy the beach and park, even after it gets dark. I'm not sure how clean the water is, but people also paddle board, swim and fish in it. There is also a dog park. I haven't made use of it and I'm not sure if I'd let my dog near the water, but it's there if that's your thing!

Nice park. Great place to take your dog. There is even a snack bar. Beautiful place to just hang out of you are an animal lover

The scenery is amazing. The walking trail is invigorating and fun, even the playground looks fun. It's just so much poop though. Dog poop and goose poop flood the park grass and walkways. Watch your step or you might just take back an unwanted souvenir.

Beautiful park with lots of wildlife and places to picnic, play volleyball, a childrens' playground, bathrooms and access for canoes or other small crafts. I love the scenic, 2 mile walk around the entire lake. It is paved and good for skateboarding, roller skating and biking as well.

It's a nice place to go for a walk but there is too much dog and goose droppings everywhere. People need to clean up after their dogs so everyone can enjoy the park. We have 2 dogs and always clean up after them, it's not that hard.

Very beautiful place! Wonderful scenery, and wildlife all throughout the 2 mile walk around. Fun and safe environment, with lots to do, and an awesome dog park with water access.

Great walking/bike path with lots of parking. Lots of apt construction going on (east side of lake), but the west side of the park has a great view of snow topped mountains. Path circles a lake that's approximately 1.5 miles per lap. There's swimming (open in the summer), dog park, playground, fishing, kayak rentals, coffee shop along the path, and concessions area (closed when I was there in early April). This place was steady with people of all ages enjoying the path or sidewalk benches and most were very friendly and acknowledged me during as we lapped each other. Lovely place!

I really enjoy the Sparks Marina park and have been there a few times. Great to go for a walk. Playground for kids. Swimming area with a beach. I never went in the water but other people do. There is also Volley ball nets, fishing, and more.. its kind of like a green desert oasis near a truck stop - in the middle of Sparks.

This is where I go running in the winter. They shovel the paths, so the 2 mile circle can be done without fear of ice or slipping. Thank you City of Sparks!

Not for disabled dog owners. Seriously, don't bother coming here with your dog unless you can walk a half mile & take hills. The dog park is VERY far from the nearest parking.

From above, the park's body of water somewhat resembles the heart. With beautiful places like these, I don't need costly gym memberships to stay healthy!
