Best happy hour in the city! Sunday to Friday 11-11 in the bar. Half price bites and drinks! My wife loved the clam chowder. The quesadilla is amazing too.

My family and I stopped in on Wednesday at 2:05pm. I ordered the seafood combo and the shrimp basket and waited patiently until 2:30. At that time, I inquired about the status of my order at which time the staff had a long discussion about the order but no one bother to fill the order. I requested a refund and went to Chicky and Pete's. They serve the same food, prices are better and the service was superb!

Basically an overpriced Red Lobster. My crab cake was soggy, the tartar sauce that came with it tasted better than the actual crab cake. There were bits of shell pieces in my cup of cream of crab soup and it was a bit spicy. The rest of the food did taste good, but I expected more bang/bigger portion for my buck. My server and hostess were nice at least. I would not visit again. Don't waste your money.

Brought the family there for dinner. Most got the surf and turf as it was the only thing reasonably priced. The rest of the prices were crazy. We all agreed the steak was very good but the lobster tail was bland. That is all that comes with the dish. If you want a side, it's going to cost you $6-7 for mashed potatoes or whatever. Service was very good and the place is very nice. Prices of drinks are a bit high but not out of touch for the area. Might go back if I win in the casinos.

Unfortunately, the service was not that good we had to wait a long time whenever we wanted something. Though, I tried one of the best lobster here. Well cocked well presented. The steak was so juicy and delicious. I would definitely like to go back for the food there. Wish and recommend to improve the service.

My family and I went to this restaurant based on the recommendations of the local residents.We were really excited to enjoy this wonderful restaurant and the food they had to offer, as we approached the area to where they were located it was really impressive. So after waiting our turn to be seated my wife requested a table by the water to get the whole feeling of the atmosphere. So as we waited for the table to be cleaned, 20 minutes had gone by which after which we kindly got up and asked how long would it be, the greeter stated that she did not know where the bus person was to clean the table and said that it should be a few more minutes. So we waited another 10 minutes and got excited when we saw someone over there cleaning off what we thought was our table however to our dismay it was not, after 30 minutes still waiting for this one particular table whuch my wife really wanted to sit at still nothing, the greeter kept saying she did not know where the bus person was but where I'm from and how we are treated if there's no one there to do a particular job then the greeter who wasn't doing anything could have went over there and cleaned off the table. So as not to disappoint my wife because she really wanted some seafood we waited another 10 to 15 minutes still nothing the greeter is still looking for the bus person no manager around and we still haven't gotten our table, at this point I'm frustrated and wanted to see the manager, so imagine my frustration again when a lady walked up talking to the greeter and that lady walked off come to find out that was the manager the greeter never told the manager hey I cannot find a person to clean off the table to get these people seated. So my frustration level at this point was I just needed to let someone know how I felt and how disappointed I was. I think it was a very unfriendly, rude, unmanaged restaurant with no customer service protocol in place and if this is the way that they are treated in Atlantic City and the locals think this is what they view as a good and friendly establishment they should come to Virginia and we can show you how we do it down there. I feel as though if you are about to spend to the $200 to $300 in a restaurant I think you should kind of get what you want especially when there was nobody else in the restaurant. If I can give less than 1 star I would. I'm sure the owners would dissaprove of this.

We came for the "SURF AND TURF" big mistake, first and foremost every table recieved bread except for us, secondly my streak looked as if someone dragged it across the beach, my lobster tail looked as if it might have been laying on the beach. Our waiter was very good but my food was horrible! All four of us had an issue with our dinner and had to send it back or something was missing, bland, under seasoned, etc. Never again! Oh and the manager came out and apoligized but brought out the same exact re-cooked food, they thought they were slick but I sent it back and they took it off!

If you order wings for an Appetizer let them know to mix the wings. They will give you all legs and no flats. Chicken is extremely greasy and of course they don’t have napkins. Mediocre spot.They don’t know what a well done steak is.

First of all the food is extremely expensive it 16 dollars for a basket with a two inch strip of fish, 5 pieces of shrimp that remind you of the tips of funnel cake, 2 crab cakes an inch in diameter, and fries🤢,I went to the part that was outside. My food sat under the heat lamps for 15 minutes waiting for the rest of thee order when I got to my seat my food was stale, at which point I returned and asked for fresh food the lady disrespectfully denied my request because "ummm you got your food a half hour ago" which I did not, I ordered my food watched it get placed under the lights within the first ten minutes then proceeded to wait another 20 minutes for the rest of my order. Second of all, the "fresh" lemonade takes 10 minutes just to get poured in a cup To anyone who wants to spend money on food this is not the place to spend it.(

My wife and I are here Wednesday until Friday. We took a walk on the boardwalk and saw a large billboard for Phillips. We strolled on to the 3rd floor and were greeted by a smile, and seated right away by a sweet pregnant hostess. They were pretty busy for a Wednesday evening. My wife and I both had a cocktail. She had a glass of Pinot, I had the tropical escape which was really refreshing. Joe took our orders, George filled us up with water several times without asking. We were served warm bread. We ordered the following: Cream of Crab soup, surf n turf special and the smothered chicken. They forgot to bring the soup out so it was on the house. We finished everything. Everything was great start to finish. 5/5 from us

I went for lunch with my wife kids and my brother in law. We ordered shrimp scampi , grilled chicken sandwich and Stake clams I got food poising before leaving restaurant running to the bathroom throwing up in the floor. Restaurant manager apologized and checked on me but she was able to refund only for my food even though I asked her to refund the whole check. On the way home my wife and my brother in law had same problem having us to stop several times on service areas. Very bad that in a such busy place food is spoiled and can create this type of unpleasant incidents

Had lunch with wife...decent Lobster broil...had a mix up with order and Waitress (Ms. Taisila)was super cool...Service is definitely 5 stars....

it's decent but every three times we went we've always had problems w our food either under cooked, cold, or they just didn't have what was on the menu . Scenery is nice but that's about it.

I had the Lobster Roll and the Clam Chowder. Both were excellent. I would recommend this restaurant to my friends.

The food was too salty and burned. Asked for a steak cooked medium, but received a well done steak. Received a crab cake to replace the burned food, but the crab cake was burnt too. Really disappointed.

So very disappointed in my meal. Phillips is always on our AC to do list when vacationing in the city. We look forward to the drinks, meal and service. I ordered the Bloody Mary, I requested to taste the base mix before ordering, it was very good. I ordered the drink, they added too much of the seasoning and the garnish was dried up and old looking. That was disappointing. I ordered the Jumbo Fried Shrimp, the seasoning was delicious but the shrimp tasted like swamp water. This is clearly a great disappointment from past experiences at Phillips times before. Joe was our server, he was very pleasant and attentive. He was a 5 ⭐️ Server!

I've been to Phillips in Atlantic City many times. It was one of my favorite places to eat. For whatever reason I hadn't been in a few years and thought I would try it again. It has gone way down in food quality! I ordered a special that they were running for a $19.99 surf and turf. My steak had an off flavor and was coated with garlic I think to hide the fact. It was fatty and tough too. My lobster tail was okay but a little dry. The picture for the offer, which is everywhere by the way, even in a big sign on the outside of the mall, shows a much better looking steak and lobster tail with a few asparagus spears. I didn't get any vegetable whatsoever and when I asked I was told that's extra. I did like the crab soup I had. And the restaurant is nice and clean, just wasn't happy with the food this time. Prices are also pretty high depending on what you order.
