A nice BBQ place to get a variety from the many Mexican restaurants around. Highly don’t recommend getting any fish related dishes here. The rest of the foods they offered looked tasty (range $9 - $15). Service was good as ever - always keeping our drinks filled and needs taken care of.

We always have a great meal and a lot of fun at this restaurant. All different types of music are played live and the help and the atmosphere are always upbeat and friendly. My favorite thing to have is the barbecue brisket which is tender and I ask for it lean. Love it love it love it.

I have had over 50 meals here and every one has been excellent. I live out of state and this is one of my favorite restaurants in the country. It is unusual to have such a wide variety of food on the menu where everything you order is very good. You will get better food here than many of the restaurants in Santa Fe charging twice as much.

Rachel was a fantastic bartender, friendly and knowledgeable, made us perfect, fresh squeezed Cadillac margaritas and offered us 2 for 1 apps as well as the margarita trail passport. Our food came out incredibly fast and the pork belly taco was fantastic as well as the fresh guacamole! Live music every night it appears, though we came before it started. They won all kinds of awards for best chili cheese fries, karaoke, and BBQ. There's a kid's corral in the back... Looks like a great atmosphere if you want to have a drink and a bite and need to drag the kids along! Good eats and friendly staff. Thanks Cowgirl Bar. Just in town passing through, but would come back if I came to town again.

Awesome service by our waiter. Food was as good as always!! He got tipped well. 40%!! Great attitude pays off and he earned it!! Wings were yummi!! Kids enjoyed them kids meals. My wife enjoyed her frozen margaritas,no real fruit added though,but good. I really like my craft beer very cold which its what I got. We definitely going to pay them another visit!!

Me and my friend had our dog and we're both in town looking for a friendly dog patio & good burger... This place delivered good service! Good burger and great atmosphere for dogs. Loved it can't wait to go back!

Love this funky restaurant. When we go to Santa Fe to visit our relatives, we will always take a trip to this place. Ate there a couple of Saturdays ago and they had a band in the courtyard which provided a festive atmosphere. I alway order their vegetarian chili, which is always delicious. They also carry a large variety of craft beer on tap at a very reasonable price. Looking forward to my next trip to Santa Fe to visit my relatives and eat at the Cowgirl Restaurant.

The food is DELICIOUS, they did catering for us and everything was great, setup was awesome, food DELICIOUS, employees were very friendly. loved the food so much we're headed to the restaurant now. thanks again.

I ordered the barbecue chicken and it appeared to be oven roasted (not barbecued) and then thickly smothered with overly-sweet “barbecue” sauce (sure, let’s call it “barbecue sauce”, but it was more like a chutney). The chicken had the consistency of boiled chicken which is not appetizing. The meat should have a smokey flavor, but this didn’t. I am not sure that they understand what barbecue is. The sides were bland. The cooks obviously have no understanding of how to use salt and spices because neither the potato salad nor the cole slaw had any flavor. The “BBQ” beans were cold. While they did give me a full refund, they didn’t seem to really care; no manager came by to ask what the problem was or to say “sorry, can I get you something else.” Highly disappointing. Don’t waste your money.

Cute and eclectic restaurant. Busy on a Thursday night. Live music but also areas away from the music and still hear it. Good was fantastic. Suggest the Smoked chicken stack with green sauce. A good amount of spice but not lip sweating heat. Great beers.

Hands down, the best chicken-fried steak I've had the pleasure to taste. It had a thick, crispy breading that was smothered in a creamy white gravy. It came with mashed potatoes (peel on), that were also covered in gravy, and a veggie. I chose the veggie of the day - snap peas. All of the flavors and textures in this dish were pure heaven.

Highly recommend. I had the BBQ chicken and it was very good. Service was great. The kids loved the ice cream baked potato. Unique place. Loved it.

Soggy Burgers and fries, maybe the worst hamburger I've ever had... Service is notoriously bad here so I wasn't disappointed in that regard. Better off going to McD's first if you want to play a game of pool- Avoid the food!!!

Enh, sitting here now, and not very impressed! Took 15 mins for someone to take our drink order after being seated. Asked for my steak medium, received well done! Had to go to the bar to get our drinks because our server never came by. Very conservative on the drink pour, but says they have a four drink max. Probably would have been better off somewhere else!

I've been going to Cowgirl since they opened in 1993. They offer great BBQ, a full slate of microbrews now on tap and they are one of only a couple of places offering pool. I ate their pull pork sandwich last time I was there and it was fantastic.

Had the moms green chile burger and it was great. Truffle fries were also excellent. Good deal on beer specials too.
