We went to Red Sage last year on our anniversary and it was wonderful!
Sorry to say we tried again and the food was lousy and so was the service. Prices are very high. I was so disappointed. Don't plan on going again.
We will stick with the bar food.
My family and i had a great experience. Our wait staff was kind and attentive, Our food was nice and hot and had great flavor. Overall great experience. 5 stars for sure.
So I was excited to go and have an awesome dinner for mine and my wife's anniversary. Well I went to the wrong place. My wife liked her food but mine was just not even worth it. The steak was bland at that and it was charred so bad the meat had no flavor. Now the service was very good! Our drinks were never empty and the desert was on point, I even wanted to order some to go. Now maybe they were having an off day in the kitchen but according to other reviews they had the same issue with the steaks. If my dinner wasn't comped I would never go back but, because it was if I ever stay here again I may stop by again for a second chance.
I have had almost every dish on the menu and have never been disappointed , the grilled entrees like the Buffalo tenderloin(well recommended) are always cooked right and very flavorful. Happy hour rocks with everything at $7, recommend the Kobe Sliders, The atmosphere is always upbeat and Guy and the other bartenders are always very hospitable and very attentive to guests.
Food was great. However, the service was horrid. It wasn't even busy and when we waited almost 20 minutes to get a drink order, another 15 to get our drinks that is unacceptable! Then it continued to get worse. After the server set our drinks we had to tell him we were ready to order, or he was going to take off again. 40 minutes later our food came out. As stated at the start the food was great, the service was horrible. Couldn't imagine eating there when it is a busy night.
Outstanding service and food. Food is prepared by chef's not cook's. Out of a party of four there was no complaints. Food was hot and delivered promptly. We all agreed that we did not have a problem paying the menu prices it was that good. We will be returning.
I ordered the roast leg of lamb that was part of the New Year's Eve dinner. It was visually disgusting and tasted worse than it looked. It was three fat slabs of overcooked, fatty lamb that was black in color - not burned, but black like it was old and sitting around a while. I was told it would be medium to medium well. It was so overcooked it may as well been an old shoe. The "rosemary au jus" was salty, packaged gravy mix. The "roasted root vegetables" were boiled and under-cooked. I sent the dinner back. The "five onion soup" was salty and looked horrible.
The service was slow, and inattentive would be an understatement. After three hours in this establishment, and after waiting 30 minutes for the desert we never got, we finally walked up to the hostess area to ask for our bill. They actually had the nerve to charge me for the food I sent back. I requested it be taken off and they did take it off after making us wait another 10 minutes.
I would never go to this restaurant again.
We really enjoyed our meal here. Our waiter was attentive and polite. Wine selection was good. Ambiance is wonderful and the restaurant was beautiful inside. Our New York strip was cooked to perfection. My husband and I both agreed, our steaks from Red Sage were one of the best we have ever had. It's on the pricier side, but worth the money.
My boyfriend and I went for a bourbon tasting last week which was really enjoyable! Decided to stay for dinner afterwards. I ordered the lobster risotto which was delicious and my boyfriend ordered the Rib-Eye. He said it was by far one of the best he has ever had! Look forward to going back again soon.
