we arrived and didn't have a room, but they fixed that issue fast, however room service was terrible, they didn't leave wash rags, had to call daily for coffee and refrigerator to be stocked, laundry service took 2 days to return your items, again you had to call. we had 13 people staying in 6 different rooms and the ac units in half the rooms only worked half the time, we called but didn't do any good. also there were stairs everywhere, elevators didn't work some of the time so be prepared for stairs. pool opens at 8:00 am but closes at 6:00 pm, and the pool bar closes at 5:30 pm. the other bars open at 10:00 am and close at 12:pm one is open until 2:00 am it is the sports bar in the village, but you had to go across the hotel walk up stairs again. food was good buffet served a good variety. ALL of the staff were the best of the whole experience and is why we go back to Jamaica. the beach was sandy but rocky. the entertainment was good, remember to request the big bamboo song!! no room service unless you pay extra when you book, its the black band or VIP. if you want to get out and see things contact Flash Gordon tours he is very reasonable and very friendly, took my brothers and I by his own house after a day of bottom fishing, he cooked us a great meal and we purchased beers at there little store they own. what a great family they have. visit the reggae bar in Ocho Rios for some great Marley music. have a great time when you go, but venture out and see the real Jamaica , you will LOVE IT

This resort was amazing!! My wife & I stayed there for 7 days/6 nights. The staff were always energetic & fun. The daily activities are a plus,and the nightlife performances were amazing to watch!! The Luxury (Adults Only) side is def worth it if you are wanting some alone time with your spouse. Although they have activities during the day at the pool area you can still opt out & find a place to relax. The restaurants were great BUT the experience to book reservations throughout the week could have been better. With so many activities going on it was pretty difficult to choose the times they had available. So we found ourselves going to the buffet (only two to choose from) Still great food & service,but I would like to have experienced them all. Overall GREAT place to stay. Will most definitely be back!!!

My family and I loved our trip experience. I believe anyone who decides to enjoy their trip will only note the greatness of this resort. Sure there were a few minor weaknesses, yet the last I checked, there are always a few weak links no matter where you travel - including your local grocery store down the street from you. Overall, the food, the beach, the kids club, the entertainment and the variety of activities are all quite great! I’d recommend this place to anyone looking for a safe & enjoyful vacation setting; suitable for all ages/group types/individuals. Truly, there are far too many options & activities available for anyone, to not be able, to create their own interpretation of a FUN & memorable time!

Could not have been more happy about our stay at the Grand Bahia Principe. Three massive beach, the very long pool, the fact that there's a bar every few feet, it all made the stay amazing. There were always activities available, the food was excellent and the staff were all friendly and more than willing to go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. Have already recommended this place to a few friends and will continue to do so.

Thanks to Bahia Principe I had the best time with my family during our family reunion. The environment, food, staff and everything was great. I would definitely recommend this place to stay for anyone who is looking to enjoy a good time with their friends or family. For the price, it's definitely very worth it!! Thank you so much! Great place to vacation. Very clean, great service staff and good food. I would definitely go back. My only complaint would be the music choices, it seemed to be the same music and same bands night after night. Overall a wonderful experience.

Great resort. So much fun. Food gets boring after about 4 days. Need more choices or different buffets to select from. Gorgeous grounds. Nicest people. Something always going on. Best snorkeling around. Found rays, squid, octopus, lionfish, puffers, and tons of different tropical fish. I will be back!

Awesome Resort! Awesome Service! Big Respect! Loved my time there. I didn't swim in the public pool I paid the extra money to swim in the spa area. The resort itself is huge one of the biggest on the island. The food is great if you have the all inclusive. WiFi only in the lobby I believe. The casino is fun but it will take your money with the video black jack.

This is my second stay at the Grand Bahia. I must say the grounds are absolutely beautiful and well maintained. It rained daily while we were there but we still had a great trip. Our first time we stayed on the family side. This trip we stayed on the luxury adult side. Well, it was worth the extra dollars to get the elite service. A private car picked us up at the airport and we were welcomed with chilled refreshing washcloths and champagne. Elite members go to a private room and are welcomed and handled by staff. You facilitated our stay and we had a great time. If you have a Birthday, Anniversary or special occasion, you can have the room door and room decorated, just request when on the premises. We also had butler service. Be aware that the room service menu is limited and they do encourage you to dine in their restaurants but when you don’t feel like dining out a salad or coffee and muffins will do. You can always go to the buffet I like the Jamaican experience which is available for breakfast, lunch and dinner. By the way, you must make reservations for their restaurants. You can always go to the buffet, but my favorite was the Spanish food - Picadillo - excellent. When it rains no worries entertainment moves indoors. Staff is very friendly.

This is the best holiday resort. We booked an all inclusive holidays and everything is included. Our flights transfers all food and drinks and alcohol. You will never go hungry. The staff service and accommodation is excellent so are the grounds all well maintained. Again the staff are so friendly can't praise this place enough

Beautiful place! Never had to leave the resort. I came with a 3 and 7 year old and they had the time of their lives! We ate at the buffet the entire time but there are several restaurants. I was able to try so many different foods, as there were themed meals. Met many people from around the world!

Our stay at the Bahia Principe was more than amazing. The resort is huge, tons to do! It is so clean and beautiful. The rooms are lovely, the beaches are GORGEOUS, the food is amazing!! Large selection. The staff is extremely friendly, making you feel so welcome! The entertainment is great! This resort is so amazing we would like to come back again next year! Thank you Bahia Principe for creating the best vacation I ever experienced!
