We went to Ace Water Park with a half day pass. Had a little trouble finding the road to the resort, but other than that, getting there was easy. The kids enjoyed themselves and there were plenty of lounge chairs for everyone that was at the park that day! Food and drink available on site, as well as adult beverages. The changing rooms were just restrooms, however and they were barely big enough to change clothes in. Since we were not staying overnight at the resort, it would've been nice to have a larger changing room and showers available to day guests. Overall, we really enjoyed ourselves and I would definitely recommend this water park for physically fit youngsters and adults alike who love water sports and like to challenge themselves.

I had never been to ACE but they had a zip course my lower weight daughter could use s owe rolled right into a pleasant surprise. Ree and the other guides made for an forgettable day for her. We came back A few days later and ran the New at summer levels and had a really good time. Rocky was our guide and did a great job. My kid hit the water park while I put my feet up. It was a good day.

Camped here for a week. Loved the water park it was awesome. Great for kids but also adults. Loved the zip line at water park and all the challenges it had for not ONLY kids . Its a place to interact with your kids. And just so you know the white water rafting is something to definitely do. It was one of the GREATEST experiences i had here. I was nervous cause i had never been before but after i went it is something i would love to do with all my children. Going to come back with my daughters so they can share that experience with me . It was so much fun.. so if you havent been. Its a great adventure and lots of fun try it out. I was pleased with my stay there. The people was so friendly and welcoming also.

Took a group of 13 and camped in the primitive sites on property. The sites we're good, and close to the shower house. The shower temp was hit-or-miss on whether it was warm or cool, but the facility was good. We went river rafting (best rafting of my life!!), played paintball, visited the waterpark, ate all-you-can-eat pizza, went mountain biking, and climbed at the tower. All the activities were excellent, and well-staffed, and the staff were kind and helpful. I wholeheartedly recommend visiting this resort!

This is a great place to stay and check out some of West Virginia’s natural beauty. The facilities are accommodating and the staff is super friendly. We took a rafting trip on the New River and couldn’t have had a better time. Our trip leader, Lucky, did an excellent job explaining everything. Since our group was so small, they took us on a little excursion to eat lunch near a waterfall. The restaurants have some tasty food and ice cold beer! Our kids loved the water park. Hell, even I had a great time trying to climb those huge water toys. We’ll definitely be coming back!!!

A great camping experience! Shower houses are kept very clean! Everyone is very friendly! The waterpark is really awesome! So many activities to experience! My only complaint is that there is nothing to offer children under 6 which means a couple has to do things separately!.. Other than the water park. I think it would be great to offer a kid camp for children under 6! The children camp leader that my boys had was truly wonderful and showed my boys a great time!

Cabins, tents and 5 RV spots with full hook up, no cable. The Verizon reception was slim to none. The property is nice with a restaurant (food was very average) and several activities to do (white water rafting, zipline and rock climbing). The hiking trail is great and ends with spectacular views of the mountain and river. There is no laundry facilities on the premise but a great laundry mat is in town. We enjoyed our stayed except that we had 2 inconsiderate neighbors but that is not the resorts fault.

The experience was great from the first time I called to make the reservations. The staff were friendly and professionally. We stayed in a cabin tent which was very clean and well maintained. The restaurant and bar at the resort were very nice with good food options including a breakfast buffet. They had every outdoor recreation you could image right at the resort. The whitewater rafting was so exciting. Our river guide, "Puddin" was a true expert. He gave us a total thrill and he really knew the river. Wish we would have had more time planned. A return trip will be in our future

One of the best experiences of my life! The staff is the best around and are very knowledgeable. Had the best whitewater rafting guide too. Also we had issues with our tent pavilion leaking so they put us in a mountain room for the night that was awesome. The bar/resteraunt is the coolest ever and they make really good drinks! I can't say how much I loved this place! Can't wait until next time!
