Very cool historic hotel. The room felt a little drab, but considering the age, you can’t complain. The haunted presence is very upfront, just fyi. Definitely a worthwhile stay in Deadwood.
While passing through Deadwood in the off-season, I chose to stay at the Bullock for its historical connection to Seth Bullock. Although the hotel was a little more expensive than some others in town, the historical appeal was worth it. The rooms were simple, but fine. There is no complimentary breakfast. Only a couple of the rooms overlook the main street of Deadwood, so if you don't specify it ahead of time, you will most likely have a different view. Otherwise, the hotel is well-located and has a restaurant in the building (plus a casino).
The rooms were great, very comfortable. And then the history, it was just plain fun staying here. They also have a great breakfast! Good people and good service!
