Went here with some locals from Deadwood-Lead. It is first and foremost a bar. They do have good food (reason we were there) and you can sit on porch when weather is nice. Service was slow the night we went, however it was 2-3 people taking care of inside and out.

The food is good, but making a group of 25 move one table over after ever already been seated in a room with no other guests was a bit ridiculous... So it's easier for you to serve? Give me a break.

My first and only experience at Lewie's was amazing the food was great and the service was too. It is s great little place to go eat in the hills and I plan on stopping by whenever I get the chance. I give it 4 stars because I've only had it once. I'll change it to 5 if more experiences end up being as good as the first one.

Dog-friendly. Had a great cheeseburger and fries. Sat outside on the deck and was able to have our dog with us. Our server brought out dog treats. Nice!!

This is our favorite date place for special occasions or anytime. No calories tonight as we were celebrating my birthday! Thanks for always making it fun! ✌💕😁

My favorite burgers in the Black Hills. Friendly atmosphere with a little bit of old west ambiance. As mentioned, burgers are delicious and not overpriced. They offer a few beers better than standard domestic draft but nothing wild. It's a great place to go - even with a group - after a day at nearby Terry Peak or Deer Mountain. I hear it's also popular with the Sturgis Rally crowd in the summer.

Great burgers! They are half pound and plenty of options. The kids loved the corndog basket and the chicken strips basket. We played on the old-school foosball game. There is lots to look at as there is lots of old stuff on the walls.

I drove up to Lewis's in a snow storm, ready for a warm dining room and a delicious cheeseburger. On both counts I was not disappointed. The wait staff was unbelievably friendly and efficient. The cheeseburger was part outstanding and part heavenly. A thoroughly enjoyable experience. Absolutely one of the best Cheeseburger in the Black Hills.

So I have heard for years that Lewie's has some really good burgers, well I am here to tell you that mine tasted like a regular old burger. It wasn't bad, but it was something spectacular... Also I figured a place know for their burgers would have a decent number of them on the menu, I believe there was a total of 5 or 6. I wasn't overly disappointed, but for all the good I heard from people over the years I sure as heck didn't taste it.
