Soooo glad we decided to stop by and try this place out before heading back home from Galveston. Excellent service, and incredible food!!! My friend and I split the vegetarian lunch platter and a large Greek salad with avocado. The house dressing, the dolmas, the hummus, all of it was spectacular!!! The moussaka was some of the best I've ever had. Can't wait to visit again!

The service was excellent. The waitress was very friendly,helpful, and attentive. The food was extremely good and I liked the texture of the hummus, as it wasnt super creamy. I wwould have ordered more but the prices for some of the dishes were quite high. I will still be coming back and enjoying my favorite Greek eatery on the island

We were able to find some good vegan options here. What we ordered we enjoyed. The lentil soup was very tasty, with lots of good spices. I also have a salad which they made vegan by omitting the cheese. My husband had a veggie pizza without cheese and the vegetables were piled on so it was very filling. The pizza was big, enough for two people. The atmosphere was casual and service was good. It's right near the beach so you can go there before or after dinner.

Laid back local atmosphere... Casual dinning... And hear this! No "exaggerated Seawall prices!" Great for family with kids looking for a good reasonably priced meal, without having to leave the seawall! I get the Gyro and fries every other weekend ;) Truly the best deal on the seawall!

Staff is incapable of seating parties greater than 5. Our visit was on a Monday around 8 Pm. Restaurant was half empty. Hostess took our party size - 9 - and went to the manager in the back. Hostess returned and informed our group that they cannot sit groups larger than 5. She did offer to give us two tables on opposite sides of the restaurant. We declined and went Salsas - one block away - and had a wonderful meal seated together. Maybe someday Olympia will figure out the mysteries of moving tables, but until then I would avoid.

The food wasn't too bad, and the service was fast and friendly. My only complaint was the server didn't know the details of my dish well enough and that caused me to order something I wouldn't have ordered. Will try again soon because I didn't enjoy the meal because of the confusion

Excellent food! We are vegan and had the falafel platter with no dairy. It was a feast - so fresh and tasty! Friendly service too. This will definitely be our new favorite place to eat in Galveston.

We have eaten at both locations before and neither disappoint. This location isn’t as flashy in terms of the views but is in a much more convenient location. The food reminds me of my trip to Greece and include some complicated specials that I would never make for myself. Service was speedy and provided the right amount of attention. Would highly recommend both locations.

Very good food and excellent service. Great location - Steps from the beach. They had the best baklava I have had in ages. They have lighter portions at lunch so we enjoyed the beach afterwards.

Good food, mostly decent service, and right on the beach. My only reservations are that the ambiance isn't great (IMO) and the prices are pretty high for what you get. Still, I go back again and again because they do have great food.

I enjoyed my grilled chicken salad. It was a little different but in a good way. I would definitely recommend giving them a try. The location is pretty neat plus watching the cruise ships depart is interesting.

Based on my one and only visit (so far) I would not be opposed to coming back again. This was my first "sampling" of Greek cuisine and I must say I was pleasantly impressed. I think what made it special was a combination of the overall ambiance - the decor, the food, the drinks and our waiter. He took the time to tell us about each dish we ordered, turning our visit not only into a dining experience, but into a learning experience of a new culture as well..

Very disappointed in the restaurant. My daughter and her friend had recently heard great reviews on the Olympia located on the seawall. Having been a customer of the 21st Pier location I thought this was a great idea. Upon arrival I requested a table for 3. I was told matter of factly there were no more tables available for 3. We looked around and the restaurant was less than half full, it was 7:40 on a Friday evening. At first I thought she was joking but it wasn’t a joke. I questioned her statement and was point blankly told there was nothing and nothing she could do. She said we could sit at the bar. Or go outside. I chose to leave. My $$$ was better spent at a restaurant on the strand. Very disappointed with this establishment. Don’t even think I will ever eat at any Olympias restaurants again.

Amazing place - food and service. Fantastic seafood, even better Greek food. Gyros hold up against any you've ever tried and no fresher calamari can you find! Don't miss while you're in Galveston.

My wife and I have eaten at both locations. The sea wall location is not as fancy but the food seemed better than at the Pier 21 location. The sea wall location has awesome gyros. One is big enough, but they are pricey. Will continue going to the one on the sea wall over the one at Pier 21.

My husband and I stopped in for lunch. We were seated immediately. We started out with the hummus. I had the Moussaka with fresh steamed veggies. My husband had the chicken pita. Everything was fresh, delicious, and served in a very timely manner. Our server was very nice and efficient. We have been here before one other time and were very pleased with the quality of the service and food, just as we are this time. We definitely will be back and highly recommend it for anyone.
