The Restaurant

A few courses and a few selections for each course is definitely better for the less adventurous than a tasting menu, though it was still excellent. We were well looked after in the bar area while we waited for our table. A lot of reviews rave about the view, but it's not very visible from the seats that are not around the periphery of the restaurant. Good ambiance - nice place to eat. I liked the side-by-side seating for tables of two.

The Restaurant

Great place for to celebrate an occasion. Need to make reservations well in advance. Valet parking. They have a 4 course menu. But they are aways bringing small bites in between the courses. The staff is very friendly and makes sure you always have a full glass of water :) We got cocktails when we got there and wine with our entree. I believe you can bring your own bottle of wine and they have a corking fee. Overall it was a great experience

Very fine food and drink. I don't drink alcohol but my companions were very pleased with the wine and drink offerings and recommendations. Very helpful host and staff. Maybe the very BEST rare Japanese steak I've ever had, and very interesting and artistic appetizers and other dishes, including their classic salad, Dungeness crab with kohlrabi, and a sumptuous dessert souffle. Perfect serving sizes. Again, a very friendly and helpful staff, describing the appetizers and dishes. Mistakes were made with several orders and the bill but, again, the staff were very apologetic and helpful, and quick to correct and accommodate. Would I return? In a heartbeat, but I suspect generally above my price range. I was a guest in my first visit. The quality of the food and service may be well worth an occasional indulgence. I'd certainly consider a return visit. Spectacular view of the Lake Union and mountains.

The Restaurant

Well worth it. Amazing service, creative food and great views. Arrive a little early and get a drink or small bite in the lounge. Add the twice baked potato to your 3rd course. It's worth it. Extensive wine list. Be prepared to pay $18-$25 for most cocktails or glasses. My one gripe was the desserts. They all had a fruit component to them, Grapefruit, Rhubarb or Orange. Would like to have seen something more indulgent.

The Restaurant

One of the best views in the city. Went there for an event, the up stairs bartender was experienced and helpful, using his skills to introduce us to all sorts of cool unusual drinks. The steak was tender and savory. They had an excellent piano player on the first floor which created a great ambiance. One of the coolest restaurants in Seattle, would definitely recommend for a high end fancy dinner.
