The international buffet was delight and full feeling. The staff was wonderful. I will definitely come back to this place again.

It's a good casino. I like how they have a shuttle bus that will take back and fourth between the Fife and Tacoma locations for free too, which is really nice and convenient. The players club is nice too, cuz if play for at least two hours you can get a food comp, which is also nice. And the casino is clean and staff seem nice enough. Just know if you don't have valid ID you are more than likely not getting in here.

Not a bad place. The lobster buffet was really good and a great value. However, you will smell like cigarettes until you wash all your clothes and shower really well afterward....I know "what can I expect from a casino?" How about better ventilation and a section completely sealed off from the smokers...its 2018... that's what alot of people want. The non smoking section still smells like cigarettes so even why bother?

The staff aren't exactly the friendliest. The food is... alright depending where you go. The restaurant upstairs definitely has the better food and the nicest staff. Don't know if I'd bother spending money on it unfortunately, but the food vouchers are a perk so might as well use them. The non smoking section has a decent variety of slots, but there's a few too many malfunctions happening. The smoking section is quite large but incredibly dirty, which is more the patrons fault but they could stand to have a few more staff members around to clean up ash and empty drinks. The overall atmosphere is one of "we are what we are, go somewhere else if you don't like it."

Of the casinos I've been to that aren't in Vegas, this is one of the better ones. They have a wide variety of penny slots, the payout rate on them wasn't horrendous as long as you're smart about it. This is the only casino I've been to that actually had tables open all night. I don't know if it's like that on the weekdays (I went on a Friday), but I was in there until 4am and there were a good number of games still running. Roulette (with real wheels, not digital), craps, and a variety of card games were going. It was a great experience. I pretty much broke even after several hours, and that's my goal when I gamble. I had fun, the employees were nice and helpful. I'll go back the next chance I get, maybe check out their sister casino down the highway, too.

Nice friendly staff, restrooms were actually clean and don't smell like urine unlike other establishments I have visited. I only gave it 4 ⭐⭐⭐⭐ stars because security wouldn't allow me to bring my Gatorade into the establishment. I understand why they don't allow people to but the temperature was in the mid 80's that day and had forgotten to leave it behind in the car. Perhaps give patrons a voucher so they can replace beverages they are asked to dispose upon entry. 🤔

The emerald queen needs a makeover. It's dark and dingy, the dealers are not friendly or outgoing. There is drug use in the restrooms as well as prostitution. I can't say that I have ever won here. The lobster night buffet is the only thing worth going to this casino for. It's all you can eat (there's also cold snow crab legs). We usually sit in the bar area and the service there is excellent. This place does it right with the comped buffet and it's the best deal in town for lobster.

You can get a $20.00 food ticket to eat any where in the casino after playing for 2 hours. But they definitely take more than they give. However, they do have the best almond chicken and vanilla ice cream you could ever possibly dream of. So to eat; I give 5 stars. To gamble; only 3. Possibly even 2. Sorry Queen.

Been going there just about every 3 to 5 days off and on for over 5 years. Casino is nice. Security guards are like sharks hunting in an ocean. Most casinos you wont see them too much unless their handling something. Food smells great in the parking lot..but you cant smell it inside. Smells of cigarette smoke. Most casinos I've been in use air ionizers. Clean and freshen. I cant believe that the casino closes its restaurants for a period of time early early morning. Due to liquor laws i would think food and drinks should always be available at all hours of operation. Comps are given out during those hours.for example if you get there late night and make a night of it, your going to end up receiving your comp when there is no restaurants open to eat in. So you've spent way to much working towards it to discover you cant use it. Its an okay place but nothing to write home about.

The casino has absolutely no ventilation and it smells like pure smoke. My friend and I had VIP tickets to see Brian McKnight and the concert Manager for the casino gave meet and greet wrist bands to attendees who were sitting way in the back. The Manager had very bad customer service as well and picked his favorites. The bathrooms are real dirty in the Casino too. Last but not least, parking is very scarce there. The Casino doesn’t even have valet parking. I recommend you go to another Casino in Washington. Thank you👍🏾

Emerald Queen Casino offers a variety of fun things to do from hosting concerts to winning at their casino or enjoying the various eateries or kick back in their hotel. The casino does offer a non smoking section while playing the games and a smoke free restaurant. A new parking structure with a shuttle service to the main building is nice.

Great place to have fun. Very nice people and employees. Sometimes they have live bands and stand up comedians. They always throw great shows and have good entertainment. They also always have a stocked bar and it's even better when you play the slots or table games and win!!! So much fun thank you for a great experience! I hope to return to have fun again soon.

Didnt like the smoking section much, also had a grumpy bartender in that section. The rest of the casino was great, especially loved the all you can eat lobster buffet! Great food for a good price, just male sure you have your name on the waiting list.

I like this casino because they have nice concerts and it is right off I-5. It is very visible. The atmosphere is friendly as well as the staff. I like it because it is in Tacoma which is growing immensely. The people there are nice. The parking is not great on the outside but they built a new garage and are building a new casino on site. I also like the fact that they have shuttles to and from the garage and from the hotel in Fife close by. I cannot wait until they have the new casino. It will be the best casino in the area no doubt.

Sad sad company! One of my Favorite employees was let go for no reason. Literally at will. Here is the thing I’ve been going to the I-5 casino since 2004. I have seen employees come and go. Seems good employees are kicked out the door for no reason. The manager In Valet can disappear for hours and leave the other attendants to make up for his slack! Not to mention he doesn’t even do his job but expects other people to do there’s. Shouldn’t a manager be the leader and set by example. I told the fellows to report it to Human Resources and they all fear they will Lose there jobs like this young fellow did last week. This fellow was the happiest most friendliest guy. He had super customer service. I was able to talk to him about why he was let go and he told me he never called out. Never ever had a complaint and his other co workers loved him. When I asked his co workers about it they all said if the manager don’t like you they make something up to get rid of you. I really hope that my message to the TNT will bring some site on how unhappy the employees are. How they live in fear of losing there job. This fellow was a good example. He worked hard because his wife has cancer and he knew he needed a fulltime job to support her. He did absolutely nothing wrong and made sure he worked hard. Why was he let go when the managers can be lazy and not do there jobs. The casino won’t even investigate and talk to the staff about it. Luckily I also know who Frank is through a mutual friend and hopefully She can tell him. The casinos can’t treat staff this way it’s unfair. It’s not fair to his family as well. I hope the news paper takes this story on so others can see how unfair this place is. I’ve had it. I won’t support a company that doesn’t treat there workers that make them the money like human beings!

Beyond a doubt, the BEST Lobster buffet anywhere, every Wednesday and Sunday! An immense array of the very best foods you have ever had, and in my opinion, the BEST quality of everything they carefully prepare every day. If you give them as little as two hours' play time in their casino, you can claim a significant voucher which can buy their amazing buffet any afternoon after 3:00 pm! A very nice casino to visit any day you choose!

We went to the seafood buffet at the Emerald Queen. We've been many times and we specifically go for the warm king crab legs. To my shock and horror when I went to open my much-awaited king crab leg it was completely Frozen. Apparently Emerald Queen Casino would like to save money by forcing you to eat cold crab so you won't eat so much and they don't have to impact their budget due to the increase of crab. The prime room was good if it wasn't for that we would have left and demanded our money back

For the most part it's OK You just have to be careful about the possibility of getting ripped off.not by the casino but by other people. A lot of homeless people hang out there and security does nothing when things come up missing

The slots in here are way to tight! $700 in and absolutely no kind of paybacks or bonuses. This has happened on several occasions! !!! The establishment is not only dirty but the other patrons will not hesitate to try and borrow money from you. This place is just a pit.Terrible gaming experience. I suggest the drive to RedWind casino, the payouts are more frequent and no "tweekers" trying to borrow money. EQC is by far the WORST gaming experience.

I'm only giving this place one star because I had fun hanging out with my lady and our friend playing the machines, but I would not recommend this casino to anyone after visiting tonight. The "comp" service is a joke and "management" was just as laughable. Terrible customer service and "tracking" of legitimate players felt biased. There is definitely group discrimination going on in this place. Our friend was having a hard day so we went with her to cheer her up. We were told upon arrival that after gambling for two hours, we would be eligible for a $25 food comp, so we stayed and tried out all of the machines that looked fun and stuck around on the "quick hit" for the majority of our time. When it came time for us to go, we were insulted and accused of only betting 1cent and not gambling enough. There were no guidelines given to us on minimum bet requirements and with my ADD I sure am not able to stay at one machine for too long if I'm not winning... Anyway, we took this complaint to the floor manager, Johnny, and I think he's probably a nice guy, but he has no customer service skills and was openly yelling at my partner during their conversation. This place seems fraudulent and scam-ish. I wouldn't waste my hard earned money or valuable time in this place again. Lastly, I will say that there was a very kind security officer outside when we went for fresh air and a bartender who makes awesome virgin strawberry daiquiris that deserve 5 stars.
