Absolutely one of my favorite casinos. Wonderful staff and such a fun crowd of people, pleasant and relaxed atmosphere. We enjoyed the great selection of so many slots and the winnings are good there too !

It has been a long time since I was here. In fact, the hotel and casino didn't exist then. I looked forward to my trip to stay at hotel, check out the casino and share with my wife the places I used to live when I was a young lad. The casino is okay. Lots of slots and a good variety of games. We play the penny slots and the ones more like video games than the typical slots with fruit, and card symbols. We found a couple that we've never seen before and really liked. The hotel room was like a motel room. It was clean, well maintained but lacking style and appeal. TV channel selection was typical for a hotel. We're Netflix watchers so this was a step or three back for us. The room did have a frig, that was nice. But the quality of the room's style was disappointing. We ate at the buffet. A decent variety of food selections and the quality was okay, but just okay. We didn't like the location of the buffer; it was just a section of the building set aside from the casino so all the noise from there was added to the noise of the buffet. We got a light meal at the food court. That will be the only time we do. Food didn't taste bad, but it wasn't all that good either. Service was slow but at least the workers were not friendly. We also ate at The Point. That made the trip. The food was great, and the service to match. I recommend this restaurant as a place to try even if you don't gamble. Will we go here again? Probably, but we'll probably stay at a different hotel. Will not eat at food court, probably at buffet, definitely at The Point.

The rooms were clean and easily accessed. We would like to see a pool and hot tub available. Staff was accommodating and we had fun.

Its a decent size casino. Clean on the inside. You get a $20 players card when your new...most only give $5. The waitresses were not that friendly. But it was a fun day. We would go back. If you are in an RV they have an enormous lot and were absolutely fine with us staying in the lot for the night!

It's a decent casino with plenty of electronic gaming selections. Also good number of table games. Staff I interacted with were friendly. Machines seemed to play very tightly. But overall, a good selection for gambling.

My wife and I have a retired greyhound racer (from the FL tracks.) Wheeling is the closest dog track to our home in upstate NY, and this summer while in Pittsburgh we made a point of visiting it. We were favorably impressed! The track itself is in a pretty setting with hills all round in the distance, the dogs eager and well cared for, and to see them run, wow! In the greyhound adoption world we jokingly refer to greyhounds as "40mph couch potatoes," well, here at the track you see them in their "40mph phase" and it is really a spectacular sight. The track seating is comfortable enough, there's a snack bar or two, the staff were friendly, and parking ok.

First time going to Wheeling Island. Ate at the buffet. The selection on buffet was okay. The prime rib was over cooked and dry. A second prime rib was brought out was much better. The salad bar was bagged lettuce with not much else to put on it. The soft serve machine was broken. All in all I was disappointed. On the other side a discount was offered for being a AAA membership.

Overrated Didn’t get much off of my FREE Play and they’re already trying and failing miserably to entice me to return despite a disappointing 1st experience. Took Forever to sign up for my loyalty or players card. Drink selection leaves a bit to be desired. Selection and variety of slots could be better. Payouts could be more generous. Only walked out $3.12 richer. Big whoop -sarcasm- Seats are also uncomfortable throughout the place

Great little get away. From Pittsburgh and love to go and spend the night. Rooms are nice and there are always new slot machines. Great steak restaurant that you don't want to miss.

The track and casino are fun, very clean, not too crowded... The hotel is nice, again very clean... The staff and security are very nice... The only possible complaint is speed of service; it took us 45 minutes to check in (only one person working front desk during peak check-in time) and 50 minutes to get our dinner from the food court.

Took my mom to celebrate her birthday. Went to the buffet which cost nearly $58.00. One of the employees was using foul language and talking bad about another employee. When I told the manager about it, she was laughing and joking with him about it. I didn't appreciate him talking like that in front of my 79 year old mother, and other older patrons weren't happy about it either. Management apparently doesn't care. On our way out of the casino, two employees nearly knocked my mother and I over. No apologies or anything. They have the rudest staff!

It was well designed and serviced. The food at the buffet was nice, if the carpet outside was a tad dated. All the employees were very helpful and had a jovial air.

Excellent food and fun... We went to spend the afternoon and it was the first time my wife ever went to a casino. She's hooked . After having lunch she wanted to go back and play some more. My earlier winnings paid for the buffet and I went back also to play. After a fun afternoon and watching my wife's eyes light up a few times I still went home with a few dollars in my pocket.lol

I like the layout and cleanliness of the casino. Keep in mind WV is one of the few states remaining that allows smoking indoors. So if you want the non-smoking section it is there, it's small but you barely get a trace of smoke as it's well ventilated. Other than that, we had a great time there for 4 hours.

I stooped here on a 3 casino trip. We took a bus, with quest coach, Grooms in Scottsdale. I have taken several trips with them in the past. This was my absolute favorite casino. I like the greyhound races, and they also have the best food. I have been here 3 times and if I have the opportunity. I will go again!

Friendly staff, liked the remodel. Weren't too busy, so we were able to play the games we liked. Slots seemed tighter than usual, but we still had a good time.

I was very satisfied. Nice & clean. Was surrounded by restaurants, stores, that was convenient. The hospitality was excellent. The room was clean, & each morning the housekeeper changed linens I was well respected by all the staff. I would highly recommend

The casino is a nice one, but there are some drawbacks. 1.) Always check the casino website before going, due to its location it is prone to flooding and thereby closure. 2.) This casino is not smoke free, if smoke bothers you, you may have a difficult time here. Ohio has smoke free casinos if you want smoke free. There is a smoke free section, however you must walk through all the smokers before getting to the smoke free section, which does not nearly have the selection as the smoking section. 3.) Buffet is kind of expensive. On the positive side, games are constantly being rotated out. There is a dog track and live music often.

Nice variety of slots and table games. The video roulette and craps is great. Dog racing added depth to the casino. Will definitely return. The only complaints I have are the beds are super firm/uncomfortable with flat pillows and The Pointe restaurant could not cook meat properly (both of us had to send back), flavor was lackluster for the price. Save your$$ and do the buffet or food court.

Didn't know buffet was closed. Went to food court took along time. Sauce missing from hubby's order. My milkshake was like water. Both 1st and remake. Talked to a young manager. He gave me a $20 . voucher. To which I thanked him. You need more help in food court on Mondays.

Good I did win and they have 80% new machines. Clean as a good Vegas casino. They do have a non smoking section. And parking is easy to get close on a busy Friday. No troubles good security.
