No one else was dining while I was there with my friend. Water was never refilled once or any of the old plates removed while we had the buffet. The buffet food was bland, sparse, and had clearly been sitting for some time. At least it's cheap which is the only reason it gets 2 stars.
Great food and portions for the money, however they close with from time to time without notice, and do not leave a voicemail stating that they have closed.
Great buffet on Thursday and Friday. The real Chinese food is great. Spicy chicken, home style noodles, almond soo guy, beef and broccoli, schezwan beef, pork chop and onions. My mouth is watering. Stay away fro the chicken balls they are mostly batter.
I have been going to China Coast on and off for 15 years. Recently on vacation to Saint John we decided to pick up some food. The service was great, the food was great and it's still owned by the same family.
Paid $49 for 2 fried rice orders and 2 main dishes, which is not cheap. I dont mind paying it but the food is mediocre at best. I waited 40 mins on a Tuesday night, the place was dead that time. I asked for utensils and they didnt even give it to me.
Pretty good spot for Chinese food here on the westside of SJ. They recently redid the front of the building which made it look much nicer. I usually see a steady flow of customers here. The staff are freindly and portions are good.
Wonton soup to die for! Order from the Chinese menu (as applaud to the Canadian/chicken ball menu) it's authentic - eggplant casserole, shredded pork in garlic sauce....they are brilliant!
