Having booked online a superior room with king bed room I was allocated that was less than superiors and had two double beds. I also had the impression from the website that the whole property was the quality that was really only found in the newer "resort' area instead I was in the somewhat tired area of the hotel. In this older area of the hotel some real a maintenance needs to be done on the doors to the rooms as they slam shut with a banging that echos - very annoying given people who rightly go out and come back at all hours of the night. Am sure this is a simple adjustment to the door closing mechanism. The pool area was pleasant and a lovely outlook over the ocean. All in all it was ok I simply expected better.

The last time I visited Darwin back in 2000 this casino was known as MGM Grand casino, this time around my visit to the same casino but with a different name, now its Skycity Casino. The layout of the casino differs from my recollection, the noticeable different that I notice are the arrangements of the gaming tables, the slots machine of course the chips are different. The old setting during that period of time looks somewhat free and easy but the setting now are based on certain theme. The slots machine are the newer version and the uniform for the staffs and croupiers looks different. Of course the game of roulette and baccarat that i used to play remains the same but the atmosphere as I recollect is somehow not akin take for example the chips have totally changed though the ambiance remains alike. I clearly remember what a good time I had during the last visit and I am anxiously looking forward for another great experience during the next couple of days.

Wow wow wow. This place is amazing. We stayed in the Lagoon Resort Rooms, absolute luxury 5*. I saw lucky enough to see other rooms and while these were nice, I would suggest spending the extra to go for the Lagoon ones! It really was amazing. The service was great, breakfast great and the pools... amazing! Shame you can not swim in the ocean! The Sunday afternoon party they have on the lawn was so much fun, we then wandered over to the markets, which is right next door to the property. I recommend this property with bells on!

A beautiful experience. The day spa staff in particular are unsurpassed. Room, clean and private. Our stay was one of the best experiences ever. Gorgeous restaurants, friendly and helpful staff. We would love to come back

A wonderful hotel to stay at. While a bit old now the room was great, clean and comfortable. Lots of restaurant options. We had an ocean view room and the view was beautiful. Sunsets to die for. We drank at the various bars and the staff were super friendly. Great for families and kids around the lagoon pool too. Even has the casino if a flutter is your thing. Not right in the CBD but we did the walk in the evening and it was lovely. At the end of the day I loved the piece and tranquility.
