The property and rooms are nice. Service is could be more consistent. Food and all in general are quite pricey for the product that you get.

If you're here just for the beach then yes this is the place with a relatively calm, warm and turquoise water. White sand beach, warm to hot weather with some tropical rain from a few drops to heavy downpour. The gym is clean and well equipped. Room with ocean view is really nice. Food is good but depend on the location, but all are very pricey, don't forget to try the ice cream inside the Royal tower, it's very good, we are there almost every night just for that. Now it comes to the service and staff, all 3 hotels the Reef, the Royal and the Coral are all 5 stars but i don't think the staff is trained for that service level if i don't want to say some are very rude and arrogant. They don't hesitate to give you some attitude in most case. I only there for the beach, foods and service level is nowhere near Hawaii. Be prepare for a deep pocket when it comes to the food. Great place for kids? Yes, especially with all of the water activities, just the service is not that good, yet.

Beautiful hotel with exceptional staff. The place is a little dated and there are some btokenthings in the room since it is so old now but they are completely remodeling I the fall and it should be amazing after that. Water park is included with the room and it is a lot of fun. Beaches are wonderful. There are many pool options as well.

I've done a lot of traveling and been to many places in my short lifetime. Not only is this place beautiful but the service you get here from local restaurants, taxi drivers all the way to room service is unreal. The hospitality of the people is the greatest I've experienced in and outside of the States. My new favorite place by far.

Loved it! Fantastic room and lots to do in Atlantis- for both kids and adults. I would recommend kids activities to happen at the Reef as well. You have to go to the Royals, Coral Towers and the Beach for kids activities. It would be nice to have activities happening at The Reef instead of having to walk or shuttle to the other side of the campus. That would be my only suggestion.

Nice quiet rooms. Can't hear your neighbors slamming their doors closed was so nice. Felt very comfortable and the air conditioning worked awesome!

Great room and staff. Great view of ocean. No bar or restaurant in the Atlantis hotel. They do have Starbucks and high prices. For exercise, we opened and shut sliding glass door to balcony. Very difficult push and pull.

Great place to stay. Suites are huge with living room and kitchenette. Great view from the balcony. Excellent, friendly, professional staff.

Loved the experience once again this time. Great stay, thank you reception for upgrading my room with an early check-in, you're the best! Weather was so good, allowing the views from the balcony overlooking the entire island. A+ stay

The Reef at Atlantis is truly the best place to stay. The room & suites are modern and spacious and it was like a dream. The rooms have a full kitchen and your can cook if you like. The kids had them time of their life. We had reserved a room and they upgraded us to a suite for a small fee. Check out new pool at Corral Towers area. It’s realky fun. Food was crazy good everywhere. David Blackwell

Scenic and beautiful, but poor service and attitude for the price. They’ve invented a lot of ways to charge you - the resort fee, convenience fee, inconvenience fee, cost recovery fee, taxes on fees, taxes of taxes on fees, bad employee attitude fee, gratuities on bad employee attitude fee, mandatory and sometimes undeserved gratuities in addition to gratuities paid in cash, taxes on top of taxes and fees, but the service and food is not up to par. The location and facilities deserve 5 star rating, but the service is barely 2 star and the problem is not with the housekeepers and gardeners but with the management. One would expect this service at 2-3 star hotel, but not at 5 star resort. Probably not coming back as there are a lot of places in Caribbean that provide much better service for the money. Greedy Marriott corporation - take notice. This place is overly expensive, overrated, and NOT WORTH IT.

The hotel the staff was friendly, professional and extremely helpful. They explained in detail the amenities The concierge assisted us with any reservations, and we were escorted to our room. We had an issue with the temperature of our room, and it was fixed right away. We dined at the hotel every night, and each meal was a culinary experience. All in all, staff for making these past few days so memorable, and I look forward to coming back It is def not a 5 star experience, but the service level/price is not the same as a One and only , or Rosewood. But for the price point it deserves 5 stars

The only reason why Atlantis is enjoyable is because of the uniqueness of the resort. Sure you get to swim with dolphins and go snorkeling in the aquarium, but the service from an overall standpoint is less than bad. You also want to make sure that the chicken tacos at the cain restaurant are cooked all the way through, I got food poisoning bad. The TV and phones in our room did not work and it took them 3 days to send someone up, and even then they didn't know how to fix it. A group of us went to dinner at the Bahamian Grill in the Coral Towers and it took 4 hours, we had to get up and walk over to the bar to get a drink within 45 minutes. And speaking of the dolphins, the people who work here said they were "rescued from Katrina"...unless they were on the levies when they broke and ended up in a fresh water lake, why would they need to be "rescued" and brought here? Just put them back into the gulf. The bottom line is to not waste your money, for how much it is per night here you can find a lot better options all over the Caribbean. But if you care about the social stigma of "going to Atlantis" then come try it out I guess.

This is not a resort you would return to a second time. Buildings are in complete disrepair, the grounds are horribly filthy, trash, dirty towels laying every where. Bathrooms in common areas with broken sink faucets, towel dispensers, broken light fixtures, toilet seats loose and ready to fall off. Toilets with no paper towels to dry hands, toilets without paper to use when you have finished your business. I did not find a single clean restaurant, accumulated filth on the floors, corners and walls. We were forced to file a complaint to management to have our room serviced by service staff. Waited nearly an hour and a half in the Olives restaurant before a server provided us with a glass of water for our breakfast. Fourty minutes later when we were served our breakfast it was cold, the eggs were over cooked hard. The cook did not have the ability to cook an egg over medium or over easy! Very few staff were friendly, some were and those who were will suffer when this place goes out of business. I feel bad for them. The casino is also the worst casino I have ever had the displeasure to visit. Broken machines, (many of them), carpet very dirty and in disrepair, dirty machines, trash and full ashtrays laying all around. There was not a single friendly server in the casino! Slot machines are extremely tight as are the card tables. I will never return to this resort ever again! I now understand why all patrons are forced to pay a mandatory fifteen percent gratuity on everything they purchase. I hate this place!

This was a great resort in my opinion. The rooms were clean, The food was good, and I loved the waterpark. The only thing I hated was that indoor smoking is allowed which is disgusting.

1- This place is so over priced its ridiculous, no matter what you buy you're charged a 15% tax on top of a normal 7.5% sales tax. So for example if you just want a water which runs about 10$ get ready to add another 22.5% tax onto that. Now for the room service and their over priced food, this is a whole nother story. The tax for room service is 19% plus the 7.5% plus a 4$ delivery charge. A standard burger with bacon and cheese is about 22$ now add the 22.5% your burger now cost you about 28$, but wait you still have to pay the 4$ delivery charge now your eating a 32$ hamburger lol wowwwww. Ok moving on. 2-The employees for the most part suck, most of the people inside the hotel ask you how your doing and seem to be nice but not all, but going outside is a whole nother story. Pretty everywhere outside on the grounds people don't give a CRAP about you, no one every says hello, no friendly faces smiling asking how your doing, honestly they all look like there pissed off to be working there. But hey i didn't like staying there either so i don't blame them for looking pissed off all the time. 3- It doesn't seem like anyone really knows whats actually going on there. We had to get these stupid wrist bands everyday to make sure we could go certain places without getting harassed. So ok whatever I wear he wristband but at the side of the hotel where I was staying, which had the closest hut to get the band never had them they expected me to walk 10 minutes the other godamn hut! I bet your saying wait 10 minutes that doesn't sound right, the resort is bigggg it was a 10 min walk!!!... Now if they would have had their CRAP together I wouldn't have had to walk there, not once not twice for 3 days in a row, I mean are you freaking kidding me!!! 4- Booked a king got 2 queens, also book ocean you, got a view of a building have pics to prove it hopefully they will let me upload to this site. I was in a non smoking room, but yet my room smelled like smoke the entire time ABSOLUTELY ridiculous. Pretty much nauseous the entire time I was there. Rooms are severely outdated, bathrooms are gross with paint chips everywhere, and mini fridge smelled like a dead fish. AC sucked as well 5- Last but so not least, they will try and randomly charge you for stuff you didn't do. I don't drink much so it wasn't like i was out at the bar and doing stupid crap. Anyways I see my bill the morning im going to check out and its 70$ more than its supposed to be. The only thing that should be on my bill was my rooms which with tax and resort fee i mean everything was 369% and one night I had to charge some food at Olives got a pizza flat-bread 19$ and Fries 9$ with their stupid charges of 22.5% tax it was about 35$ give or take so my bill should only have been about 405$.... Anyways called got them down to about 425$ didn't even want to waste my breath for the other 20$. Leave the crappy hotel and see a charge of 498$ for whatever reason, don't worry I took a pic of my bill on the TV before I left bc that's how I checked out. 6- So now I'm back in the Untied States Richmond Texas to be exact and its Oct 10 2015. I call today Oct 12th to start asking why they like to add crap to my bill without me asking. Guy says so we see you checked out Oct 11th Mr Warford. lol um no idiot I'm pretty sure I've been in Texas since the 10th of Oct, but hey who knows maybe theirs some kind of travel machine ATLANTIS has I don't know about. Guy on phone tries to track down why it said I stayed an extra night and had no explanation why, LOL are you kidding!!! WTF are you people doing over there????? I swear to god its like a freakin circus. Man I could go on and on about this casino, next thing you know i would have a full blown book.... DONT STAY AT THIS HOTEL PS DAMN I ALMOST FORGOT MOST RESORTS OR SHOULD I SAY ALL DON'T CHARGE TO USE LIKE SNORKEL EQUIPMENT ETC THEY CHARGE A RIDIC AMOUNT 45$ FOR 40 MINUTES ON JUST ABOUT ANYTHING, THAT SHOULD BE INCLUDED IN THE 55$ A DAY RIPOFF RESORT FEE THEY CHARGE

Awful!! This has to be the dirtiest place I have ever stayed. Upon our arrival to the beach tower our room wasn't ready by 3pm like we were told. Not a big deal, we will just walk around and check the place out. 6pm rolls around and still our room isn't ready! Finally at 7pm they have two rooms for us ready or so we thought... We opened the door to the first room and it was a total disaster, it looked like someone just left after partying all night long, cigarettes and booze everywhere. The second room had been cleaned but was still dirty. They never restocked to water that the previous guess drank, we only had one towel, we were missing the remote control for the t.v and the bathroom had mold all over the light fixtures and air vent. Every night when we would return our room keys did not work and we ad to track back down to the front deck to get new keys. Our rooms got cleaned one time in a 3 day period even after calling down to the front desk for service. On the first day of good weather we decided to get in the lazy river and relax. Well the lazy river was drained so we couldn't use that and thats just the beginning of things closed. Restaurants and pool areas were all closed causing us and other guest to wait two hours for a sit down meal that had a short fixed menu. We couldn't wait to leave this place. Dont do what we did, stay somewhere else!! I am sure other places are much cleaner and better that the beach tower.
