USA was the first country to ban smoking in hotels and public places. I think that Resort hotel does not consider it location to be USA. It's smoked through and through, there is not a spot that does not stink of cigarette smoke. Perhaps the D floor (dining) is the only place in the entire hotel where people can actually breath! We were in the ocean tower for the dance convention, our room was also in the ocean tower and I specifically asked for our room to be as far away from the smoking rooms, did not work, we constantly smelled smoke. I have allergies and my throat started to close, I had to miss all the evening fun and retire to my room early. I asked for a magnifying mirror to put on my make up and housekeeping told me that they don't have any, when they actually do. I asked for some extra blankets cause it was cold at night, had to wait for over an hour. So to sum it up, it's a 3 start motel, with unskilled and unqualified employees.
However I have to say that room was pretty clean, even carpet was not too bad.
