Tucked in the mountains just outside of Denver you will find Black Hawk. It’s a short drive off of interstate 70. Cute little casino town surrounded by mountains. The hotel is nice and clean. The rooms are large and there is a skywalk over to the casino. The coffee maker is in the bathroom......I don’t think I will be preparing a drink where I poop! There is a parking garage with. 7 foot clearance. If you are driving a tall vehicle you can park over at the casino . The parking lot is small. There is free parking behind the golden gate casino. Everything is within walking distance of the hotel. There are not very many good food options. We ended up eating at the casino and the food was good but mostly just stuff like hamburgers and sandwiches.

We go there every week. We enjoy the atmosphere & the way its spaced out. The staff is friendly and restrooms are clean. Also if you're hungry eat at Otis & Henry's on the second floor, the lady is always nice and the food is delicious.

Great ambience, we were there during the midday, so it wasn't to crowded. Great blackjack table and penny slots. Had a lot of fun for our brief time in there.

Normally we've had a great room. We got in late and went to eat right after we put our stuff in room, we didn't check out the room completely since we never had any problems in the past. When we got back to the room after midnight we were dead tired.the hallway smelled of smoke even though it said non smoking floor. The wall paper was peeling in shower. Stains on the chair and ottoman. The floor was not vacuum well and the dresser was banged up pretty good with thehead board wood peeling off. When we checked out , I told the gentleman at the desk and he said, I'll let maintenance know. REALLY thats it. I pd 100.00 for 1 night in a room falling apart which normally we've paid under 75.00 for a better room? We won't be staying there anymore!!

Staying here for work. My employer reserved the room thinking I was getting a room at the Isle which he specifically asked for. I got to the isle to find out my room is actually at the Lady Luck. So I had to reload my bag and drive to the other casino. After unloading my lougage once again I finally get to my room and I’d rather stay in my car. The carpet is stained and discolored. The two chairs that are in the room have stains on the bottom cushions and are brown where the headrest is on BOTH! There’s no microwave and the mini fridge is on the floor. I ended up calling the front desk which rings over to the Isle and even though they where totally booked they still managed to find a room for me at the Isle. I give Lady Luck 1 star but sorry the Isle is affiliated with them because I give the Isle 5 for coming to my rescue. Lady Luck lucked out as I will not be staying there ever as I’m here every week for work.

Decent hotel and it's cool that the isle is connected. Don't eat at the restaurant. Service sucked and everyone's food was cold (no they weren't busy or I would have been more understanding. There were 3 servers and 4 tables... we ended up getting up ourselves and getting our own drinks) rooms are nice, but the pillows suck. I had the best luck here on black jack though!

Well you know it's a Casino... What else more do you want to know. There is poker upstairs there is craps and blackjack on the main floor lots of machines, the restaurant upstairs is awesome. Even the Little Deli Place upstairs is pretty yummy. If you play poker the Monte Carlo board is what you're playing for the bad beats and the quad Aces and Royal flushes, the ones that pay off real good on the side :-) aside of the pot you took winning that hand.:-) good luck good luck

The hotel was less then desirable o would give it a 2. The door handle was broken which made it hard to get in the room. Hair dryer would only work on low, the shower would only send half of the water to the shower head, there was only one regular coffee and one decaf so we had half a cup each and there was a huge station in the carpet. Four stars for the dealer's. They were great very friendly made playing fun, joking with people, but still very professional. Machines were pretty tight.
