The casino is clean, smoke free, and offers a huge variety of slots. They have their own parking and also offer free valet parking, both for the hotel, and for the casino. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly. They offer fun rewards with slot play. They have a bar in the casino and free soda. They have a couple of very nice smoking patios as well. They also offer a few varieties of restaurants and cafe's. They have elevators, stairs and escalators.

Not real crowded, which is a plus! Good machines and had a good time at the craps table. Spent maybe 4 hours there. You can tell it is new and they need to hire more people.

So booked a room to stay in. NO where did it say a minor could not stay in the hotel room. Got thrown out at 9:30 in the night after coming back from dinner and being in and out of the hotel several times with no one saying anything. As you can see from there website Primary guest must be 21 to book. I would agree with this, but no where does it say you can not have a child who is in HS with you. Poor advertisement and not friendly at all. Would not have enjoyed if I had been with friends and just hanging out for the weekend.

Grill is excellent, rooms are fantastic. Miss Penny is fabulous. Staff is all friendly and very courteous. The machines payout seems pretty low these days. Would give extra half star. Better payouts on machines would give 4 star.

Johnny Zs has done a really nice job with their newly acquired casino and hotel. The casino is clean and has a very nice contemporary feel. The selection of games is fantastic and the staff is friendly and helpful.

Nice place. It's a little different since they switched from the reserve. Still has a cool atmosphere. The room where they do concerts at is more open than before. Looks like it's going to be smaller local acts as they aren't ticketed anymore. They have different beers since switching. Other than that not much has changed.

On the 3 1/2 star side. While the Grand Z Hotel has began to make this a nicer looking casino, I personally would prefer more machines, there is a lot of empty space; possibly keep some older machines around longer to allow people to enjoy them longer than other casinos. The payback has seemed to go down. Have not stayed in the hotel as of yet so I have no input there. The Bistro is expensive, very expensive for the food; especially when you can go pay a little less and have an all you can eat buffet with decent food and options. The grill is "okay" in that the Prime Rib was very dry and unfavorable, the fries were terrible. If they continue to make improvements, offer some additional incentives to attract us to go up more often, and I would give an additional star.

If I could give 0 stars I would. The women at the front desk have 0 customer service and are very rude. This place is very unprofessional. I had to get a new key card for my room 5x today. This is not our first stay here but it will be our last. We spent $1300 on rooms this weekend. First check in they lost the reservation for 3 rooms with our member points, so we ended up paying full price. Than instead of apologizing they were rude. When the key cards deactivated each time, instead of saying i apologize for the inconvenience. But the cards cannot be around phones which they were not. I plan to never return here ever, she slammed the door once asked to speak with someone above you. This has by far been the worst experience ever and it's for my father's birthday. Working in customer service you know how to treat people. I have never dealt with people this rude and unprofessional. Finally spoke with someone after we were told there was no one above. They were very nice and stated were going to fix it. But when you're trip from Friday to Sunday is over and has been ruined there is not much to fix. Also the outcome was ok they honestly could have done more. Being we have been staying here since it was the reserve. I just hope they get it together. The hotel and casino is great for wanting to get away and relax and not be in the busy casinos in blackhawk. But after this experience I'm so upset and don't know about returning.

Tight slots like everywhere else in Central City. Nice self service soft drinks. No wonder this place is almost always empty. If you can’t win and at least have a little fun, there’s no reason in coming, right? I’ve had better luck on the Las Vegas strip.

The gaming areas were amazing. It didn't hurt that I won a bit at several games! The new member promos were great. Everything was amazing until we went the next morning to redeem our $7.77 prime rib meal. I'd say it was bad service but it was really more so a lack of service. The tables were all dirty and the waitress made us feel as though we were inconveniencing her by seating ourselves as the sign at the entrance dictated. Then we sat for 15 minutes with no further contact from anyone on the floor. We ended up leaving but will definitely return for the games. Their restaurant? Not so much.

Lost $700 in less than an hour and a half playing the leprechaun slot at MINIMUM bet. I don't mind losing but for goodness sake let me at least enjoy a little play time. Casino room comp rate is RIDICULOUSLY HIGH. Didn't even offer a discount when the hotel was less than half full. I'd recommend trying the other casinos first or at least compare casinos bonus and comp rates before just spending it and get nothing but a "see ya" I will say the casino was clean and there were many different games to choose from. Sadly they all seem way to tight. I recommed starting your play downstairs instead of upstairs like I accidentally did. Better bonus rates a multipliers downstairs.

1st things this is a hotel that I paid for it was not comped or free. The wife and I decided to take a weekend getaway we stayed at the reserve for 3 nights checked in Friday left Monday I paid almost $600 for this stay. They gave us room #429 it is right next to the elevator and all you heard all night was the elevator going up and down we got little to no sleep due to this room. When everyone was coming up at 3 am you heard them being loud and walking the hallways. The next thing that was not so well is the housekeeping they did not vacuumed once the whole time we stayed at the casino. The same rocks and little pieces of paper that were on the floor when we arrived stayed when we left. When checking out the lady at the desk asked how my stay was I told her it could have been better without the room next to the elevator. In he most snarky voice she tells me next time I should know better and request a room away from the elevator. If they offer you room $429 or #431 do not take it you will get no sleep and be kept up by the elevator all night.. The Casino stay on the gambling floors were great wish I could rate them in a different categories.

Almost a love it. Good variety of back ground music playing along while you gamble. Generous video poker machines. Friendly slot attendants and cashier. Very nice decor.

No drink service!!!! The waitresses are lazy and rude! Every time I go, I have to ask for a waitress 3 or more times and they still do not come around. Be prepared to play without drinking Not even water. I have a hefty bank account and loved all 3 of your casinos. But customer service is of the utmost importance to me, if I am not treated with respect, I go elsewhere. I suggest you put water bins In a couple of places at each of your 3 casinos that should help a lot. I'm ending my love for one of your casinos but real close to not returning to all 3.:(

They have updated a lot since they first opened and looks great. My favorite place to gamble. No big crowds friendly staff

I love the this casino. One of the best. Nice variety of games. I only wish they held more promotional events.

The buffet sucks! Everything was dryed out and nothing was fresh. The crab legs were suppoed to be all you can eat but a person had to wait 10 minutes for a new batch. The servers were not friendly. They acted as if they were being bothered. I would not recommend this place to anyone. What a waste of money.

Just went up for the day to gamble and eat. I ate at the buffet, service was great food was great, and they even gave me a nice flower

Very nice room facing the front of the property. Awesome shower! The best video poker is at the bar, they've taken out the better quarter machines in the video poker area. Looks like they're moving to more penny slot machines, like most of the casinos. Also hate the 6:5 blackjack, but people are always playing it, so if the customer doesn't know it's a bad odds game then why blame the casino.
