Played 6/27/18. This course was a great value since it included breakfast, lunch and 2 drinks. The course layout was challenging and fun to play. Conditions varied by hole. Some tee boxes were green, others were bare. Some fairways on the back 9 were recently areaiated, the front 9 was nice. All the greens are long, so putting was tricky. Overall, we enjoyed the round and the scenery.

Not sure how anyone can travel to this golf course for a golf get away and come away happy.
They should close the course down until it is fixed, the greens and fairways were horrible.
The best part about the golf course was the alligators

Third time golfing here. Very disappointed with fairway conditions. Nothing like the last time. Alligators everywhere. Some very large. Yes I will return.

Beautiful course, but the greens are poorly maintained. May become better with the season, but as of April 7 looks like painted mud. Everywhere else in the course is fine. Lots of large gators!!!

Decent course that gets q lot of play because of free meals included. Tough to keep a course in nice shape with that much play. We enjoy it when the price is right.

Greens had heavy damage this winter. Made it less than fun to play. I don't like the way they do the lunch tickets. Afternoon finishers get a cold sandwich and not the hot plates. Staff is not particularly friendly but are attentive. I always try a smile and lightheartedness but was met with stone face business like manner. Efficient but likely caught people on an off day.

Have played here many times and always enjoy coming back! Last year we stayed here for a week, at some of their condos. Although not quite 4 star accommodations, the condos were well-stocked with the necessities, and the location was perfect. The course was interesting, with not too many alligators, but lots of water hazards, typical of Myrtle Beach courses. Definitely worth trying out!

Course was in very poor condition which was down to recent heavy rain, however no one from the clubhouse explained this to us before we went out .Their were a number of holes which were unplayable. When we complained afterwards they just shrugged their shoulders and would not recompense us any of the green fees. Bit sneaky that. Won't bother next year

Had not played Myrtle Beach area or Oyster Bay for 20 years. Came back and it was better than ever. Course always had a great layout. The conditions were excellent and the staff is better than outstanding. You get more than you expect. Highly recommend. Must be included in your golf package.

Played here in the past and the course was in better shape. Greens were good and tees were ok but fairways were not in great shape, especially on the back 9. Don't know if it was too rainy or too sunny that month but it was not as nice as previous rounds. I still like the course and the challenges it provides, but felt a little let down.
Lots of water hazards (almost every hole and mostly to the right) and a gator sighting are to be expected. Two almost island greens and #13 & #16 are two of my favorite holes. Others are nicely laid out too. Worth playing if you get the chance but look for a discounted time slot.

Played the back nine twice on a recent vacation. Had seen the pictures and ads in golf magazines over the many years, and overall it didn't disappoint. Took my daughter to play (her first round on a course) and we took advantage of the juniors play free.
It was very hot (95-100 plus humidity), so we only made it through nine holes, but they were nice enough to give us a rain check for 9 on a different day. Came back two days later and still wicked hot, but my daughter had a true par 3 on the15th with a shot over the water and two putts! We followed advice from our golf pro friend to start from the 150 yard for par 4, 200 yard for par 5, and the red tee (or drop zone) for the par 3.
The staff was great and extremely nice, helpful, and accommodating to a Dad and his junior golfer. They truly made it easy to play and have an enjoyable time (both days).
The course was in good shape, but there was some maintenance going on (de-thatching in process). The bunkers had some junk in them (pine branches) and the sand was a little thinner than I expected (I hit out of one and it looked like I was into a base), and some hadn't been raked well by earlier players (not the fault of the course). Overall, though, I was pleased with the condition of everything. The greens ran true and we made some good putts!
