Still great prices and food. More tourist oriented and a few years ago. Get there early or late since lines are long and no reservations. Or put your name in with the host and go drink sake for an hour at the Japanese place across the street.

Corallo

One of the best Italian restaurants in the city. I consider this as a hidden gem. It's super tiny but in a good way as they would be in Italy. The food is authentic and always beautifully cooked. If you want to feel a little piece of italy go here especially in the summer where the windows are open to the street. This place never disappoints and I've been coming here on and off for years. Keep doing what you're doing guys.

My niece came up with this real winner of a place a mere block away from her Dad's. Excellent food, top notch service and a very charming decor make for honours grades. It is refreshing to see a price point that makes it feasible for a person of modest means to be able to enjoy a really good meal and not always have to resort to takeaways and street wagons. A real competitor with nearby places that are hideously expensive. Stupid not to consider.

In a city where some parts change really fast, Il Corallo Trattoria remained the same throughout. Since my first visit in 2011, the service has always been fast and efficient, the food has been good to delicious, and prices are very reasonable (they have a $12 lunch special, with soup or salad and entree, for instance). I always wonder how the service holds up during the busiest lunch hours with so many customers in so little space. However, I recommend the pizzas!

Hole in the wall Italian spot that was recommended to us by the Bite Beauty Lab girls right next door (and there was quite the crowd so we took her word!). Food was fresh and the pasta definitely tasted homemade. The lunch options were a good size, and very reasonably priced. Service was attentive and honestly very quick! Recommend if you're in the area and craving a quick homestyle Italian meal.

Nice affordable Italian eatery in Soho. Portions are quite big, so be ready to share your food (unless you’re super hungry). White pizza is tasty and tiramisu is very good (like 8/10). Soft drinks are bottled, so if you’re heave coke drinker - be ready to pay :( Service is very fast and consistently great. It’s our go to place for fast dinner in Soho. Usually there is no wait here in winter time and some minor wait summertime. If you plan to sit 4 people but 2 are late - just say there 2 of you and later ask to change table (they are still making 4 sits table out from 2x2 sit).

By far my favorite pasta place around the city, even the whole world! Handmade fresh pasta, soft and tender. You can taste the freshness in each ingredient. Highly recommended.

Cozy place with awesome food! I got the Spaghetti Carbonara, and it was so much better than anything I could make at home. Will definitely come again if I'm in the area! P.S. The complimentary sliced bread is rustic and delicious!

Amazing food and service here. Ambience reflects that of an old fashioned Italian restaurant. It doesn't make itself to seem upscale, just really homey. Had the black ink linguine with seafood. Highly recommend saving the starting bread to use as dip for when this dish comes in later (or ask for another basket of bread)
