If you enjoy racing and poker its a nice place. Staff are friendly and most people are in good spirits. Be responsible and enjoy a few games.

I went alone, would probably have had more fun of I had gone with a friend. Dogs seemed like they were having a good time. Tails were wagging and all had an alert demeanor. Go EARLY before the races if you want a table for lunch. After the races begin people wont get up so that new diners can sit down for lunch. Very busy on the Wednesday matinee, pretty much standing room only when a rain shower came through. Mostly retired people at the Wednesday matinee. Some children, but not too many that I couldn't get away from the misbehaved ones. Long lines for making bets. Staff was nice and friendly enough. I had enough fun that I will try again sometime with a companion.

A fun night out to watch and bet on the dogs. We don't come often but it's always nice to be able to drop in with friends and have a good time. I hate to see it all ending next year.

Absolutely the worst poker playing experience of my life. Rude unresponsive staff, combative and unfriendly patrons. Go to a Grief support group it would be more fun.

Great track & poker room. Outstanding food, friendly staff. Poker dealers are professional, and courteous. Nice tables and they frequently have special events, including WSOP qualifier tournaments, bad beat jackpot & hourly high hand payouts.

We decided to stop here for dinner and to watch some dogs race Of course there was a chance of winning money. Upon entering we were told that the dinning room was closed because of a special event. I wonder why that info wasn't placed online. However, despite the dinning debacle we had a great time spent a little money won some money pretty much went out for free. Every staff member we met was helpful, friendly, and professional. Try it you just mat enjoy yourself.

Sadly they were under staffed, one server and one hostess, and shot a cook in the kitchen. Tuesdays are advertised half priced appetizers, the dining room filled up just before the first race. We made a 6:30 reservation planning ahead as the first race started at 7:30. Our drinks came out quickly, then the salad appetizers followed. Hot items, giant onion rings and mozzarella cheese wedges. The shrimp cocktail was (MIA) missing in action. It finally arrived just before the first race. Dinner items trickled out, our server apologized for the delay. Most of the tables were full. Drink refills were slow. We the bill was presented and upon review of the itemized list, we were overcharged for one of the appetizers. The server adjusted the check reflecting a 50% discount for the appetizers.

Great facility. Non smoking throughout. This is a pretty good place to have some fun. The dealers, brushes, and wait staff, are really pleasant. You have to pay for all drinks including sodas and coffee even while playing, and their loyalty point system leaves a lot to be desired, so you have to play for several hours, before earning even a free soda. They have a lot of tables and stay fairly busy in spite of the poor rewards system. Their tournaments have improved recently with better structures than in the past. They have good high hand promotions, bad beat jackpots etc. The food is pretty decent, and the live racing and simulcast area are clean and pretty nice. Children are welcome to watch the races, but are not allowed in the poker room. It's a nice place to play with the potential to be a really great place. My biggest complaint is that a lot of their chips in the poker room are just filthy and should be cleaned or replaced.

The live racing is great. Sadly it's not as popular as it once was, but this is a great place that treats the dogs well. The poker room is nice and we'll kept. The new Cassi style games are a great addition as well. Drinks are resonably priced and staff is always friendly.

The staff is wonderful and professional, as always. But this place is a shadow of its former self since its sister card room opened in Orange City. My Dad and I come down once or twice a year and we are so disappointed that we are very seriously considering vacationing in Jacksonville next year. After coming here with him for 10 or 12 years, it is beyond sad to us what this company has allowed to happen to a place where we used to have so much fun. Gonna miss it but we're done.
