First, since I am not allowed to post any comments on their Web Site, no rooms for negative remarks there...?, I will review it here. My main concern is to find the best place for my Casino dollars in this market, given there isn't much good to be said for it as a whole. I was (foolishly) hoping for at the very least, the same level of return as the other boats...(not sure this one can be actually considered a boat, but that's another issue altogether) but, I was sadly mistaken. No 9/6 Jacks or better Video Poker at any level is a good indicator of how tight this Casino is? There Buffet is priced to high ($25) and opens to late at 5:00/5:30 PM? Yes, it is nice...and new and has some cute features....but I would not play there! We, three in the group, went there this last month to show it off to a friend that had not been to it. They have already made some changes. The High Limit Room has been moved to the back (from entrance) left corner and the area (old HL area) up front has a lot of new Video Poker machines ...still nothing worth playing as far as I am concerned. Did not take in every game on every machine...but the best Jacks or better I did find is 9/5 on the $25 level...very poor. All the employees I encountered were very friendly as is expected. The only time I have eaten there was when they first opened and they sent coupons. We ate at the Margaritaville Rest. and was very disappointed. The Cheeseburger was to expensive and small, as was the "Top Shelf" Margarita. Mostly ice in the drink, and it came in a small mug....two sips and it was gone. The Diablo Burger was very good, though...but pricey as well. We did try the Buffet once, again on a coupon, and it was " All Seafood, All the Time". That is great if you are into Seafood! My wife isn't, so she liked it less. The food was as good as any buffet I have ever eaten at and the free beer and wine does make up for the high price nicely...if you are into that? One beer...Miller Lite, I think and red or white wine...don't know the brand...but refills are free as well. The fact that there isn't a parking garage makes bad weather trips kind of a hassle... but you could use Valet Parking...not sure if there is a charge? This walk from parking can be quite a hike if it is on a busy day...add rain, etc. and you might rather go to one of the other properties? Everything being equal...(and it isn't where it count for me) I'll spend my gambling dollars else where when in town!
