I really came into this place expecting to absolutely hate it, but lo and behold Dive is actually a legitimately enjoyable place. The music was loud and fun, the weather is almost always nice and warm, and (besides the $20 cover) the drink prices weren't too outrageous. The people there were all out to have a good time, but no one was too "d-bag-ish" much to my surprise. The crowd skews a little older than I was expecting (around early to mid 30s, from what I saw). Yes, the place is way out of the way for almost everyone in San Diego/Riverside, but it is still way closer than party pools Vegas.
