A small piece of Paradise on earth. Myself and my wife stayed here in the first part of our honeymoon in May 2013, and I can't say enough positive things about it. Staying at this hotel really made our trip something special, and one to remember. We were checked in promptly, with an extremely friendly member of staff, and things got even better from there. The hotel itself is beautifully maintained and the suites are of an amazing standard. The beds are easily the most comfortable thing I've ever laid my body on. Being on a honeymoon, the bed was pretty important, obviously, but after walking miles and miles every day, this became even more useful. The pool, while small, was more than big enough for a quick cooling dip throughout the day. The hotel, from the rooms, to the various food establishments on offer, to the various in-house events, could not be better. The location is also perfect, with loads to do both inside the resort, and outside, with easy access to the rest of the Strip. Being in Vegas, we visited all of the other hotels down the Strip during our stay. I can honestly say that no other hotel had the same feeling of grandeur and quality as the Venetian. I would stay here again, given the chance, in a heartbeat. You may hear that the resort fee is too expensive, but if you do not want the newspaper, wifi or valet parking, you can tell the receptionist during check-in and you don't even need it. A quick tip I should share. I tried the $20 trick (Google it if you're not sure what this is). It worked a treat, so we got a free upgrade to a very high, large suite with an amazing view over the Strip. We could see the Treasure Island pirate show right from our window. I cannot recommend this stunning resort enough. It's the best place I've stayed in the world, bar none!
