The new pool is great and the Gormete Room Bar is good. What I like best is staying in the South Tower and playing in the nonsmoking area.

Cinnabon

This place is an island where time stopped in the middle of the 80's. The only way that you knew that you were in the 21st century was the fact that there were modern slot machines in the casino, but enough about the trip down memory lane... Don Laughlin's Riverside Resort offers a large casino and many other amenities that you would expect in Nevada. The players club offers pretty standard comps and there is a nice variety of machines and table games. The only place we ate at here was the buffet. A little odd in it's layout but the price was right ($9.95 for weekday lunch) and the food was not spectacular but it was tasty. Service was nothing great though. River views were beautiful. Overall it seemed to be a nice place. You have to be ready (especially during the week) to endure a crowd of people from the silent and baby boomer generations.

Cinnabon

Hotel room was clean and stocked with all the usual items. A refrigerator was provided free of charge which was nice. The food on the other hand left a lot to be desired and was pricey in my opinion. Poor service at the Mexican restaurant was the breaking point. No refills on drink, had to go and find silverware to eat with while my meal got cold. Probably will not stay there again.
