The GF and I this 4th of July weekend. Pulled in and the Casino is very impressive from the outside. We checked in and the hotel was very impressive from the outside. The staff was very friendly upon check in. You have to walk through the casino to get to your room. The rooms are awesome, very nice and plush. Contemporary rooms with nice clean bedding. Granite counter tops in the bathroom. Large flat screen on the wall and real wood shutters exposing an awesome view. They have a couple nice clubs the one in which we visited was the TSR Lounge downstairs which was fun. Bartender was very cool, drink prices were not bad and they had a live DJ. The downstairs lounge opens up to some nice couches outside. One thing is there were no misters which with they heat they should have had. Next morning we hit the Wandering Horse buffet for 9.95...yes 9.95 at a hotel! Oh and the food...probably one of the best buffets outside of Vegas. Worth every penny, would have cost more to go to Ihop. They had great coffee and the omelet bar rocked. Sat morning we went down early around 930 and claimed some umbrella covered seats for the Release pool part. Again check out the videos, got some good stuff. Hung out there for about 4 hours or more. Hit the pool, ordered drinks and food. Had to be 700+ people in the pool. If you stay at the Hotel then you can get in before the general public and you do not have to pay. Anyway the GF and I really had fun here. Oh and we checked out the UFC fight for 10 bucks each. I ordered some huge nachos for 5 bucks and the GF got some wings for 9 bucks. Here wings were enormous, great deal and very tasty. Check out the Talkingstick...you will love it...total fun...great price.
