For ages this was the Las Vegas Hilton....off-strip location. One of the last hold-outs that was NOT charging a resort fee....all that changed when it became Westgate.
We were in Vegas for a trade show, it was the end of the week and we were beyond tired. We went to Vince’s to eat as a group because of the two for one steak special. Now no one in our group was a wine type person and we asked our server if we could have a beer instead of the wine offered in the special. No problem, the food came out and while it was nothing to write home about the alcohol and music more than made up for it. Great time
We ate here several months ago. It was mediocre, BUT I have to wonder why all the apologies from management if you are still continuing to disappoint.
PLEASE share with folks what you have changed to effectively change the quality of the food and/or service.
Thanks. I would genuinely like to know.
I have neither praise nor complaint for this hotel. The room was clean enough. The beds were comfortable. The place provided no coffee machine, which was okay with me. The place provided and mini fridge. The bathroom was very simple. I stayed in a non smoking room which I thought did not smell of smoke until I got home and my pajamas had a light scent of smoke. My pajamas were only used in the room, so regardless of the non smoking fact the air units must not filter very well into the rooms. We stayed at this hotel because it connected to the monorail, which I highly recommend using. The staff were kind and funny and greeted us well every day we stayed there.
West-gate, what can I say, it must have been fate. I had happen to arrive on the day of the Superbowl and the hotel was throwing a big party, which wasn't a bad thing. The hotels atmosphere was very electric and welcoming. People can be seen gambling and having a good time all throughout the day and night. There's never a dull moment in Vegas and especially at Westgate which relatively an affordable hotel. The service was prompt and good, but it could've been better. One nice thing about this hotel is that it's just a couple minutes from the strip. The reason I'm giving it a 4 star review is because my room had very minimal lighting. The only thing to illuminate the room was two lamps on the night stands by the bed. Other than that it was a good stay and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a place to stay.
