Atlantic City is still much better. I have been to AC.. I have been to Vegas. And I wasn't too impressed by Parx. There has to be about 10000 slot machines that make a huge circle around a few tables and the bar in the middle. With all the video machines, it felt more like an Arcade than a Casino. Very few tables and very few people were actually playing table games. I had no trouble finding a seat at any of the blackjack tables (seemed like nobody wanted to play $25 a hand). I also didn't get free drinks playing at the video poker bar. Usually casino's always give out free drinks. Not at the bar at Parx, though. Lost $20 at the machine AND still had to pay $6 per bud light. We also had to park like a mile away. No parking garages and we all had to trudge through the snow in the poorly maintained parking lot. The girls loved that. I am also used to people dressing up to go to the Casino. Girls in nice dresses/skirts, guys in jackets and button down shirts. At Parx you are more likely to see people dressed down in sweatpants. We felt like we were too over dressed for Parx. The casino didn't have any clubs or places to drink/dance. Yeah they had a band playing... but no night club like I am used to at casino's. The food selection wasn't that great either. You basically have a glorified Mall Food Court in the corner of the casino. And that's it. But it was enough to hold us over until we left. But hey.. at least Parx was a set up from the Sands in Bethlehem. Which isn't really saying much.
