Very cool historic hotel. The room felt a little drab, but considering the age, you can’t complain. The haunted presence is very upfront, just fyi. Definitely a worthwhile stay in Deadwood.

Bully's restaurant We were walking down town looking for a place to stop and eat before leaving town and saw their neon sign for restaurant. Once we went in and explored a bit, we found the small almost-hidden-away restaurant and most of the time we were the only 3 there. Our waitress was very nice and watching the cook from where we were sitting was nice. Everyone was kind and good natured and the breakfast was perfect. They did mention they had new menus coming in because the one we used had a dish that they no longer served. We only learned this after attempting to order it. Overall it was a very neat little place and a good experience. I recommend!

Great place to stay, beds could be more comfortable and could use better pillows. AC doesn't get real cold 72ish. Slots downstairs which I won $300. Great history and setup, take the ghost tour. Breakfast is great and you can't beat the location.

Very disappointed that such a historical hotel was renovated so poorly. We stayed in the Bullock Suite. It has furnishings that are meant to look historical, but throwing an old trunk at the end of the bed is not my idea of trying to recreate an early 1900's feel. The bed was extremely uncomfortable and the air conditioner is loud. The room never got any cooler than 72. We even called the front desk and was basically told it's an old building. We thought we'd make the best of our accommodations and use the Jacuzzi tub in the 1980's decorated bathroom. It was dirty and had a nasty soap scum ring around it. It obviously had not been cleaned! I think we could have found a more historically accurate hotel, that had properly working a/c and was actually cleaned if we had done a little research!

My husband and I stayed at the Bullock Hotel the room we stayed in was clean and comfortable. The staff Greta and Lisa are two fantastic people that are there for any need you may have. They give great advice on where to eat or what to do for fun. The Bullock Hotel is perfectly situated to have a nice ride to go see Mt. Rushmore and Crazy horse. It was some of the most beautiful riding that we have done. The Bullock Hotel offers breakfast in their restaurant “Bully’s” the food is excellent for a fair price. They also have their own bar which is staffed with whoever is working the front desk. Have patience because Greta and Lisa are wearing multiple hats, we just reminded ourselves that we were on vacation and not in a hurry. They also have a ghost tour of the hotel and it starts at 5:30pm and costs $10.00 a person. It is a fun and very informative tour that takes you down into the basement and through the back halls of the hotel. They have their own slot machines that you can play if you don’t want to venture out into the warm air. They have their own part of the parking lot across the street to park in for free just make sure you are on there side of the parking lot. Greta or Lisa will be happy to point out where it is. I have to say this was one of the best vacations we have had and will definitely be back to the Bullock Hotel so we can go explore everything else we could not fit in on this trip.

Loved it, stayed in room 307, one of the rooms featured on Ghost Adventures. Had some relatively harmless anomalies. A picture of an orb.

Not your typical hotel stay. If you looking for authenticity of the old western feel, this is the perfect place. Staff was super awsome and helpful as well.
