Started the stay off with being dropped off by airport shuttle 1/4 mile from the hotel entrance, since they cannot pull up due to construction (although taxicabs pull up right to the entrance?) packing luggage to the entrance and staff did not seem willing to help at all. Got to front desk and waited a half hour, only to be told we could not check in until 4 pm! ( it was 9am at the time!) The front desk staff were very rude and impatient with my questions. We had to walk around in our travel clothes for 7 hours! We checked out bags in at the bell desk and the again the staff there were very rude and unwilling to answer questions. Had problems with getting ice (which is important since no rooms have a mini fridge) I called customer service and they sent me to 3 different floors looking for an ice machine that wasn't out of order. Finally I called and told them I had been running around the hotel and asked if someone could bring ice to my room. The lady said I will see what I can do and hung up on me. I never got the ice! Every run in we had with staff at the Flamingo, they were rude and unhelpful. I had no Idea what the hotel had to offer until I walked around myself and figured it out....There are so many other hotels on the strip, do not stay at The Flamingo!!!!! You're welcome ahead of time.
