Flamingo Las Vegas

Upon checking out of the Wynn for a convention with work, I checked into the Flamingo for a fun girls weekend. My room was not as described. I had booked a non-smoking double room, which I had also paid extra to upgrade. Instead, I was originally give a smoking king, generic. After much to-do, I was finally given a queen, non smoking. The room was not at all what I had expected. The only thing that could have redeemed it, was the view... however it was disrupted with peeling film and ruined the view of the strip entirely! I decided not to get upset and just make the best of it. We went down on Saturday the 29th for breakfast and had 2 of the worst omelettes I have ever had. My friend had the Mediterranean and I had the "Santa Fe" (I believe that is the name). Both of which were dry and next to nasty. I had to doctor my friend's Bloody Mary at the table (even the server said the mix you use is awful). Never mind all of this, we were determined to have a nice time. The pool was fun although it did smell pretty bad and we heard others complain as well. The staff was pretty great outside and like I said, we had fun. Sunday morning, we went out on the strip, went to the Quad and had a blast. When we came back to our room to change, nothing had been done. The towels had not been freshened, room service remnants had not been removed, beds had not been made... it looked like housekeeping had not even bothered to clean the room whatsoever. Sunday night... some crazy girl threw a drink on my friend... and when I went to get security, they asked if we needed to be escorted to our room (as though we had done something wrong) and did not seem to be bothered that, for all intents and purposes, guests of yours (US) had been assaulted on the casino floor! We choose to come to Las Vegas because we feel safe there. Cameras are everywhere. We should be able to have fun in the casino without fear of danger! I will never, ever, in my life stay with your casino ever again. I travel to Las Vegas annually for work and also organize a group trip separately once a year. Please also bear in mind, that I will gladly bad mouth the casino any chance I get should I hear of anyone needing a hotel in Las Vegas. I gambled away more than $600 in your casino. I paid money to book at your hotel. I spent my money at your bars and restaurants. I will never, EVER, give another dollar to your casino/hotel. Sincerely, Lauren
