I've been betting at Sam for almost a year. The local hardcore bettors are located on the first floor. Upstairs is where you'll find the first timers or those who simply enjoy the entire track's panoramic view. Many of the tellers are friendly and will take the time (if there isn't a line of potential wage makers) to explain the various betting opportunities. There are only a couple tellers that have a sour disposition, and you learn to avoid them. It would be nice to see Sam's management to help those addicted. It is sad to witness those self-destructive individuals. If I can pick them out, I am sure management can also and give them some type of assistance. The management is serving the public, not to destroy a percenatge of them.
