We came to Atlantic City for a concert over the weekend that was playing at the Golden Nugget. We had no problem checking in. The hotel room was clean and we had a room on the 27th floor which had nice views of the marina. I think the supplied soap and shampoo for a higher end hotel was a bit generic. The walls were a bit thin and I could hear my neighbors. Thankfully, it wasn't a gaggle of wedding bachelorette/bachelor party because it would have been an unpleasant stay. That said we could still hear an overly loud Brittneys coming in from their night out at 3am. While this side was away from the ocean and boardwalk was a nice reprieve. I only wish the group of hotels on this end were more connected without having to take the jitney. At night security checks for room keys before entering the elevator vestibule. The elevators are a bit crazy as at one point with 8 elevators only one apparently was in use created a huge line. The pool terrace was very nice with the open fire pit and great views. We wish we had brought our swim attire. We wondered why not more people were up here but then everyone was downstairs spending their fortunes. The bartender was really nice. She made strong drinks with prices as expected. Check out was equally quick and simple.
