Vinay was absolutely excellent in helping me with various types of files that needed to be transferred from a previous hard-drive, not Google-based so complicated. This ability had everything to do with helping me get back to work, for which I need my computer and all its files. Vinay was committed, caring, easy to talk to, and got the job done. I had a much better experience at the best buy mobile in Metrotown. They actually cared about customer service and retention. The coqutilam location has lazy teens that could care less and are on their phones the entire time. Did not get good service and their stock could be improved to include more devices and tablets. They only carry iPad, because apple likes to monopolize.
They were quite nice here, took a little bit of a wait to get some service, but all in all I got what I needed. I came in for a price adjustment once I say the cell phone I got cheaper else where, and the guy at the front desk gave me the difference back. So I'm happy with that.
Its in the mall, so that was pretty convenient too.
Hard to find anyone that works there and when u do they still don't know where anything is or anything about the product. Half the time they point u in the wrong direction and then when u realize and u can't find anyone else they should walk u to the product.
Customer service dealing with Nikon was efficient and thorough. We had all the plan and upgrade options explained in great detail and the process was painless.
Called them 5 times, never picked up. Worst Customer Service EVER!
And when they picked up, this chick picks up and I asked if there was a specific item on sale in which she rudely replies, "WELL did you check the website?", and I said "No that's why I'm effing calling you." "And she says, "Well MAYBE you should check that first then." and to which I reply "Excuse me, may I have your name?" and then she hangs up on me.

Greg, the manager was, however, very good at nullifying the situation. He went above and beyond to make the situation better, so I appreciate his efforts. However, the 1 star still goes to the chick who doesn't know how to properly talk to someone on the phone.
Also, Eugene had exceptional customer service (not by Best Buy standards but in general), so I would like him to receive some recognition for his excellence. If you had more people like him, I would gladly pay the extra distributor fee that these retail stores deal with rather than just buying the same item on Amazon for 10-20% cheaper.
Istan(?sp), Ravi, and Rylie made our night! Absolutely amazing staff, funny enough we where just complaining the other day about how we kept getting ignored at this location and how much we hated going to Best Buy.
