I came out here with Abigail for one night it was a nice four hour drive. There was the typical "Vegas" traffic jam out on the 15 in a few places on Saturday afternoon but this time I was able to combat that by splitting traffic because I was riding my bike. Whoooo Hoooo!!! We arrived at about 6pm and I did not have reservations. I know Whiskey Pete's is the cheapest of the three out there so I pulled up there. I went in and found out that the room was going to be $60. I could deal with that easily so I went ahead and pulled the trigger. $60 for a hotel room on a Saturday works for me anytime. We arrived at the check in counter and Justin helped us out. He was a bit on the chatty side but hey I was in no big hurry and I had arrived. I was wearing my Air Force jacket and we chatted about the military and the right to bear arms and politics and stuff like that. Always fun! LOL We ended up getting a room on the 11th floor and it had a view of I-15. It was actually kind of nice. Not sure why I liked it but I did. The room seemed to be cleaner than the last time I stayed a few years ago. Maybe some new tile or carpet or something. I am not sure but I was impressed with the cleanliness and quality of my room. We headed downstairs and ran into the Bonnie and Clyde exhibit on the casino floor. This is kind of funny because my Australian Cattle Dogs are named Bonnie and Clyde. We took a bunch of pictures and read all the notes on the items they had on display and then it was time to hit the casino! We went over to the roulette table and did pretty good. I got right into it with Double Rockstar and Vodka's. I was pretty hammered after about 6 of those things. I did pretty good with roulette as well. We both sat there for a few hours off of our initial investment. We went to bed early, woke up around 9am and headed back to California. This was a good easy turn around trip that I hope to do at least once a month!
