Not a good experience at all. Booked a room and had dinner at Robert's. I had $150 in Comp Dollars when I made reservation, but when the bill for dinner came I was told I had 0 dollars. I had no idea that the dollars that you earned expire after 6 months. WHY? I earned them. To make it worse they expired 5 days prior to my trip. Not one person at this hotel showed the least interest in helping me with my problem and in fact some were not very professional (Rudy from Promotions). In a time when casinos are doing very poorly, you would think that they would try their best to accommodate you for what you earned. I am only a small fish in a big pond, but I did spend over $500 between the room, dinner, and drinks. No way would I ever gamble there again. When the $200 bill for dinner came, the table next to me told me to tell them to get their tip from Promotions. I could never do that as it was not the server's fault. I left my usual 20%. That's called class, something the Taj does not have. Further Update: I have made phone calls to two supervisors at this casino concerning this incident and I have also written two emails. I have yet to receive any response whatsoever from anyone. How you can treat a paying customer like this is unthinkable and extremely rude. It's not like I'm asking for something free, only what I earned and was never informed anything about expiration. Just read where over 300 more people laid off at casinos in AC. Most of these people are low level hard working and I feel bad for them. Treating someone who just spent $500 in your hotel like I am being treated, I hope you two high level employees are next in line for a Pink Slip, but that never happens.
