We've been to Las Vegas as a family multiple times. We've stayed at the worst hotels: 4 Queens, Tropicana, Circus Circus, etc (always in the middle of the strip or the Old Las Vegas). This time we decided to stay somewhere farther, because it we needed 2 rooms instead of 1 and were on a budget. Sam's Town was the most affordable hotel we found. I was EXTREMELY surprised with how nice the hotel is. The hotel check-in area is beautiful with a waterfall and a light show. I thought the inside decor was very nice, a little something different. The kids loved the light show and the separation from the casino. Our rooms were very nice, much nicer than expected. Overall, very happy with this hotel. When we go back, it will definitely be to Sam's Town again.
