I just happened to see this Google review page and clicked because I stay there fairly often and saw some of the bad reviews. Some one said the Buffet was mediocre. Yeah I noticed that too if you catch them shortly before close or switching to dinner from lunch the food is just okay, but normally it is pretty darn good. Casino Promotions are clearly marked, 'Casino bucks' or whatever they are called are easy to earn for club members (free) and can be used at the casino, gift shops and even gas so if/when you lose all your money (it is a casino after all you will most likely lose) you can still eat and have gas to get home. Just because you lose at a casino does not make it a bad casino. If you actually want to win money try the bingo hall or the Poker Room just down the road not even a mile away. My last stay was during 'Super Storm Sandy' we decided that we would stay there instead of home because we figured be safer and less likely to lose power. (and we could have some fun) Well, the Hotel lost power for at least 8 hours, the casino floor still ran but some things did not seem to work correctly. The overnight cafe still worked to get food out and the hosts gave free battery powered lights to anyone that asked for them. From what I could tell at check out they gave many people a highly discounted rate for the night for something that happened that was out of their control, People where still not happy with that and complained until blue in the face. The hosts where very polite and patient with them dispute the customer's rudeness. Just a side note, our home never lost power during this storm LOL It is a smoking casino, there are non-smoking rooms and section in the casino but to get to them you will be around smokers constantly. Plan accordingly. I, as a smoker do not mind but understand why others who didn't know would. The only time I had extra charges on my hotel stay was when we used extra services. It sounds like these 'reviewers' are leaving out important information. The worst part about the casino/hotel is the freeway leading up to it that is in dire need of repair. If you are planning a trip there try to avoid it. And go through the city to get there especially if you are on a bike. (if you can) TL;DR (too long; didn't read) I don't know what all these negative posts are about, I've never had any serious unreasonable issue.
