Where to start. Well the place is a smoke smelling dive. Should be called Fiesta Rancho stink hole. Rooms are small, smelly, and in dire need of a paint job however the beds are comfortable and the cleaning staff is very friendly. Worst part was the first two nights of our stay. It's Vegas and we were out late. Put the do not disturb sign on the door only to have the front desk (which was really the chamber maid supervisor) call early each morning waking us to see if we wanted our room cleaned. On the first day this happened I complained, then went out for a couple of hours only to find that they never cleaned the room after the call!!! Had to ask them to clean the room after all that and the Manager/supervisor was very rude during the entire ordeal and trying to make excuses for the call. The first day she said someone switch some door hangers so they were calling to check. Really? The second day she said they were checking to see if I had the fridge I requested for the room. I told her that if I didn't I would have let them know by the second day and if they check my bill she would see the $12 a day charge. She was obviously lying and just trying to get her cleaning staff off duty. However again the chamber maid was very friendly, apologized, and did a great job. The Casino is nothing but a money pit. If you like video poker and the slot machine Buffalo you'll be in heaven as they are scattered all over the machine but there is literally not a machine in the place that pays. Expect to lose money here. The only time we won was when we went across the street to Texas Station. Ten times the hotel and Casino! But then we'd come back to Fiesta only to lose, lose, and lose some again. I've played at Indian Casino's that pay better. They have very adequate security all over the place that will eyeball you all night and follow you around the casino including up to your room for no reason. Far too many which makes me wonder about the clientele. The pool is a joke. I've seen bath tubs bigger and worst of all it's located on the Northeast side of the hotel so expect to lose the sun by around 2pm. It also closes at 8pm so no evening swim. Best thing about the pool is that it's not heated so it can be refreshing when it's 100 degrees out. The free or 99 cent Margaritas taste like frozen minute maid and have no alcohol. If you drink while gambling only order beer because the drinks are just colored water. The buffet was awful with the exception of the Mongolian grill. Literally the only fresh food on the premises. Everything else was either over cooked or dried out from sitting under the heat lamps so long. Even the Pepsi tasted watered down. Ate at Denny's once and it was ok, it's Denny's. Subway was good, Smashburger was good but pricey. Ended up eating all of our remaining meals across the street at Texas Station. Again, 10 times the hotel/casino. The ajoining ice arena is nice which is why we were staying here as it was a part of an exposure camp my son was attending so we had to stay otherwise I would have moved acrossed the street. Lastly, when you view the photos on the main website keep in mind that they are not actual photos of the premises. Discovered that these photos are the same for all of the Station Casinos so buyer beware of false exposure.
