I have been on 6 cruises and I was not overly happy with this last cruise on Royal Caribbean. The food was not very good and there was a lack of on board activities. I know that they believe they have adequate activities, but I believe Carnival is much more successful. The activities that were available catered to an older clientele. The production shows also missed the mark. Their two shows, West End to Broadway and City of Dreams, we're both confusing. There never seemed to be a plot or general theme. It was like they were trying to find as many reasons as possible to change wardrobes instead of focusing on a show that actually made sense. If you're looking to cruise to relax and only relax then Royal Caribbean may work for you. If you are looking for fun and entertainment go with Carnival. Carnivals boats may be a little older, but they definitely deliver the fun, entertainment and consistently solid food. Murphy
