Went for prime rib buffet on Saturday night. The food was excellent, with a wide assortment of different dishes in addition to the main attraction. Service was prompt and courteous. Everyone in our large party--including the kids--had a wonderful time.

We had a staff appreciation event. It was very nice inside the conference room. We had a bartender in the room with us. They were very efficient and friendly. Supper was a buffet from their restaurant, and it was incredible. I ate a seasonal variety of vegetables, salad, and chicken. There was also mashed potatoes, rice, beef, and mushroom soup. There was 2 kinds of cheese cake, I chose the one with chocolate crust. Overall, the facility was very clean and the staff were all very friendly and professional.

The service staff at the bar is amazing! Christina was so fast and so friendly! The other girls as well when her section moved but I cannot remember her name. Nice selection of drinks. My only complaint is the smoke but I'm sure many will find that to be a plus since the places you're allowed to smoke I'm are rare.

Pros- Hotel had great service, starting as soon as we walked in. SC restaurant's food and service was phenomenal. Cheap breakfast at The Tap between 930-1130am. Players club gives great discounts. Cons- Hotel rooms and lobby looks outdated. Deep cleaning of rooms is needed. As an example, the curtains in the room were dusty and fingerprint stained as was the furniture in the room.

We had a fantastic long-term stay at the River Cree Resort. The rooms, service, and amenities were outstanding. The view when the sun rises over the city in the distance is pretty spectacular, too. We hosted a few dinner business meetings at SC that were successful. The food and service there were also excellent. Thank you to Martin, Shane, the Enoch Nation, and everyone else who made our experience memorable. We'll be back!

😁Classy with a laid back feel. Wish we could have stayed another night. Bed very cozy with a clean room throughout. Fitness room the best we have used in a hotel and the pool was awesome(even though we did not have time to use the pool) The hostess at the front desk was professional and kind. Lots to do in that hotel and as mentioned wish we had more time to stay!😆 Steve&Stace

Nice casino, great stage for shows. Also has a hockey rink attached. Easy to access from Edmonton. Lots of parking and very very clean. Only downside for myself was the indoor smoking that was throughout the slot and gambling areas. Not my cup of tea, and honestly I left my friends earlier than anticipated due to the amount of smokers smoking. Otherwise a nice casino.

Nice place. Great employees. Great service. I enjoyed the events venue. I gave this place a 3 because the prices of everything blows my hair back every time I go there. I don't understand $12 for an alcoholic beverage. My thoughts are the more you drink, the more you put in the machines. I can't afford to drink and gamble so I don't drink then I don't gamble.

It’s a nice area and casino! There’s tons of parking which is nice but only one entrance/exit so it can make for backed up traffic. The casino is spacious hit people are allowed to smoke inside in designated areas but the smell travels around the whole casino so keep that in mind. The theatre where there are shows is way bigger than I thought and has good acoustics! You could spend hours just enjoying the resort and walking around; so much to do and see!

The hotel staff is awesome and they go above and beyond expectations. The casino staff provide service based on who is at the counter. Not particularly helpful or welcoming. The hotel pool and hot tub need a good cleaning. The tiles are scaly and have pink grime on them. The pool has plenty of sand in it. Would I recommend this place? Yes, for the right price. I got a deal on hotwire.

River Cree consistently brings in great performers to it's venue. Despite not being the most visually attractive of spaces it is well organized, comfortable, and most importantly the sound quality is very good. The casino looks well appointed, although I am admittedly not much of a gambler. My one real complaint is that the traffic to leave the parking lot after a concert or show is particularly bad. Those roads need to be rerouted for better egress! Otherwise it's a great place.

The River Cree venue is probably one of the worst in the city. It's essentially a large, concrete and steel tent making for poor acoustics. All the seating is at one level, which means unless you're in the front row or very tall your view will be obstructed. And they didn't have the video screens working so you couldn't even count on a video of the performance to make up for the terrible view. Drink are also insanely expensive. I didn't want to pay the $3.50 for water at the bar so I went into the casino to get a plastic cup of the complimentary water. However I wasn't allowed to bring the water back through the doors into the venue area, which seems a bit ridiculous. The only real saving grace was how great the artist was, however even he commented on how lousy the venue was, calling it a "hollowed-out barn". It's embarrassing having artists come to our city, and this is the best we can do for them. Leaving was also a nightmare. There was nothing or no one directing traffic and cars were backed up in all directions for ages. But at least parking was free!
