Be super careful when staying at the Plaza hotel/casino located in downtown Las Vegas. The first problem is the casino is an absolute dump located on the worse part of Fremont Street where all the thugs and bums hang making it very dangerous especially at night. The second problem is the hotel reeks of cigarette smoke. No matter where you go the place smells gross. The third problem is the machines are very tight. I don't mind losing money, but when you don't win anything it takes all the fun away. Also don't get tricked by the cheap prices. When you go to checkin they hit you with an $11.00 per night resort fee plus tax which adds about 50% to the cost of your stay. The bottom line is you would have a better time staying in a homeless shelter or sleeping in the street then wasting your money at the Plaza hotel/casino when visiting Las Vegas. Avoid at all costs.
