Weekend cruise on Navigator of the Seas
This is our 4th cruise on the Navigator, the 2nd one after dry dock. We decided to take this cruise to away from all the traffic in Miami during Superbowl weekend. This ship is beautiful, not too big not too small, just the right size. Royal did a beautiful job in the pool area as it looks like a tropical island. They have a Taco Buffet by the pool which is great (at no charge) Service, food and personnel is great. We spent quite a bit of time in the Casino and I won the major jackpot in 88 Fortunes $1031. The casino host was friendly and had raffles and giveaways during our cruise. My cabin attendant and dining room server were great, they tried really had to please us and provided excellent service. We were not able to dock at Coco Cay because it was very windy. This happens a lot during this time of the year. This would have been our 3rd visit to Coco Cay which we love and I was looking forward to enjoying a chicken sandwich which everyone says is delicious. We stopped in Nassau and went to the Casino in Atlantis and Baha Mar. Atlantis was packed with people, very loud and noisy but they had some good slots. Baha Mar was the opposite - quiet, not many people but a lot of good slots to pick from. Overall we had a fabulous time and would love to go back again.

4 out of 5 ~ Great Cruise
Great cruise, Fantastic Itinerary, Top-Notch cuisine. Was comped an Inside/Inside cabin and could not have been happier! Out of the way inside/inside cabin....completely soundprooof/quiet to what was going on outside. Complete and TOTAL darkness made for an excellent and relaxing night's sleep and the best of an afternoon siesta. One of the best cabins ever in my 70+ cruises. Given an opportunity, I will DEFINITELY stay in this cabin again, in a heartbeat! The only reason I gave this cruise 4 out of 5 and not a complete 5 is because of what I perceived as lack of proper air-filtration in the casino. The place was literally as cesspit of cigarette odor, the "non-smoking" section of the casino was a joke....a small grouping of slots encircled by more smoking slots! Table games were supposed to be non-smoking while seated at the table but smokers were allowed to smoke and ashtrays provided "literally" not more than 2 feet away from the tables. Because of this, I did not spend as much time in the casino as I had hoped to, I actually only patronized the casino on the last 2 days at sea. Other than the casino odor issue, it was a thoroughly enjoyable cruise. A sincere thank you to Lexi at UR Comped and thank you Royal Caribbean. Alfred M
