Meet up with fellow URCOMPED members is great fun.... Specially Elizabeth which is a doll and always taking care of us.... Thank you thank you thank you
The atrium ran the center of the ship, some interior rooms actually have windows looking down. It was like a small town street with a salon, pizza shop, bakery, stores and shops, lounges, and a spiral stairway to the casino.
The pool deck was vast with 2 huge hot tubs on the s sides that hung over the edge of the ship. I had a window room on this voyage, but that was a large room. I was solo on the trip and it was like being in a regular hotel room. Dining rooms were spot on and staff got to know you fast. I enjoyed each port of call but particularly our stop to Labadee Haiti. My cruise was actually 2010 about 1 month after the devastating earthquake hit Haiti.
I was so impressed at the amount of supplies the ship transported there. No lie art least 50 pallets of needed supplies.
All 6 of the buffalo deluxe and buffalo Gold slot machines were down, along with 8 other machines. I was very disappointed and did not spend as much of my bankroll due to this.
The ship was beautiful ,there were so many restaurants and shops onboard. It felt like a floating city. The food was great, probably gained 10 pounds. Excellent ports of call. Casino seemed pretty tight, didn’t see many big wins. But overall a great vacation.
This is our first time on RCCL and LOS. This is ship is beautiful and HUGE! I love there is so much to do and everyone is so friendly. Two biggest negatives is there are only 2 sets of elevators and they are very slow (good news is I walked stairs for exercise!) and buffet area is not open 24-hrs for you to go have coffee and play cards with family, etc.
LOS was a very nice ship. Well kept by cleaning crew. Our cabin was maintained by Tamara from Jamaica. She was very nice and always available to take care of our needs. Alina at the customer service desk was such a big help to my sister and I from day one and all the way until the end of our cruise. We had a few complicated issues and she was so patient and professional and got it taken care of for us. My sister needed a wheelchair to get on and off the ship and they were quick to accommodate. She was sitting on the seat of her walker while in the casino when one of the wheels broke and she fell to the floor. She was bruised and sore for several days but nothing broke but the wheel. Staff were quick to assist her, had a wheelchair brought up for her and maintenance took her walker and had it fixed and returned to her by next morning. We ate at two specialty restaurants, Italian and Mexican and they were both great. The food buffet and room service were were also very good. Dining room staff always kind. The captain “Master” and his mates operated the ship perfectly. It was a great cruise although we couldn’t win in the casino. Some old machines and some new but didn’t see any big pays.
