Small casino
Hello to my fellow URComped cruisers!
I found the Celebrity Equinox casino quite small & very tight. Not many machines. The bartenders were few and in between. However they were nice!
Silvia the host was very nice but did not see her much and she did not have an assistant that I saw.
I did not hit any jackpots.
My biggest payout was $516 on the Marilyn Monroe machine.
The table dealers were not that friendly except for a gentleman named Lott.
Ps...The casino is Non smoking!
I would go back on the Equinox as it was a beautiful, clean ship!
The food was great! Better than Carnival and MSC!

Great service, nice ship.
The best attributes for the Equinox was definitely the staff. Literally I was engaged by every staff member as I was within 10 feet of them. Cabin, Food and Beverage staff were always accommodating.
The pool deck was reasonably managed, other than some chairs being tied up for hours with no one there. They were 3 pools 2 in the sun one covered.
Plenty of bars and lounges to relax or mingle. Lots of quality entertainment. 2 very impressive shows, and several other single acts that were excellent.
Another great trait is the casino is located in such an area that if you wish to avoid on a particular day, you do not have to Traverse through to get to the theater or dining like so many other ships.
Very good casino, if course since I won, and earned a certificate for another cruise. The only downside is some of the rows of slots need another 6 inches between them to get by people playing back to back.
Easy on and off the ship, very organized.

Absolutely beautiful
I love the equinox, it is an amazing ship, full of activities and great shows. The casino is nice, had a lot of new machines and the points you earn turns into funplay.

Small And Tight
First, let me say a big thanks to URComped for booking this cruise. Loved the itinerary as we had not been to ABC islands. The casino was quite small and I’m glad that I am on the skinny side because the aisles between the machines made for some up close and personal experiences. I certainly realize that slot machines are unpredictable, but I just had terrible luck. I did however get invited to the slot tournament, and I WON!!! That redeemed my experience.

Beautiful ship Horrible Casino
First things first. The ship is beautiful. The staff is so happy and friendly and it's not forced!
Ok as a gambler here are my thoughts on the Casino.
1. It is SMALL. machines are pretty outdated. They had a few newer ones like the three pigs but for the most part older machines.
2. On a sea day the casino doesn't open until 9:00am. WTH?
3. WE JUST LEFT Barbados at 5:30 as the previous ports. The casino does not open until 7:00pm. WTH? Ships opened 10 minutes after leaving.
4. The casino is 💯 non smoking! I loved not smelling of cigarettes at the end of the evening. I will say as a former smoker that may have detracted from the casino being busier, but don't know. It could be more due to the ridiculous ours they are open.
This was my first Celebrity Cruise and unless things are vastly different on other Celebrity cruises, this will be my last.
Jessica, I will most likely do more Royal in the future due to the fact the slots don't close unless in ports. I want to thank you for booking this but I do feel that an honest review is important.

Small and very tight machines
This ship was great. The food and crew were great. This casino was not it though. Not many “fun” games in my opinion and the ones that were there just weren’t paying out. Example I got the bonus with max bet 3x pay 25 spins on quick hits. $3.90 was my win. It was like that all week that is just the one that ticked me off the most. I know we chose to play and nothing is guaranteed but I’d at least like to enjoy my play time. After that I stopped playing. I’d of had better odds taking the $$$ top deck forward letting it go on the wind and running to aft to see what I could catch.

My favorite ship
There are a small number of slots and an even smaller variety of the usual slots as compared to the other ships 🚢, I’ve sailed on. The bartenders were limited but very friendly. The host was personable and you saw her through out the ship. I like the smaller ship feeling however, I wish there were newer slots and more of my favorites like Buffalo Gold and the wonder boost towers. I did win a small amount once in the 9 days aboard the ship and a small win on the 3D sphinx slot. Otherwise I spent more productive time trying to explore what the Equinox had to offer. Be careful not to remain too long on any slots as the payoffs are minimal and more money was lost than gained by anyone around me playing as well.

Some good some bad
The dealers the casino were very competent and friendly the Wi-Fi service was horrible… It’s a smaller ship than what we’re used to but overall the shows were pretty good and we had a good time the food wasn’t as good as we had hoped since we thought it was a step up from Royal Caribbean… most of the slot machines were pretty dated as well and not a whole whole lot of them🥹

Well needed trip
Blu restaurant excellent food and service.
Murano specialty restaurant was disappointing for extra charge.
Casino staff overall was fairly friendly. One in particular was not and I made a comment to the casino host.
Embarkation was quick.
Nonetheless a few hours later our room attendant delivered our luggage to our room. My wife's bag was first. Water pouring out of it- the crew had dropped her bag in the water while loading it on the ship. This happens. Nonetheless they were quick to launder and return all of our items.

1st UR Comped and 1st Celebrity Cruise
Celebrity Equinox May 29 from Ft Lauderdale. This was our 1st URComped cruise and won't be our last. We left on May 29 from Ft Lauderdale, ship very nice and clean. Our veranda room was very nice AFT deck 7. Food and service on ship exceptional.
We did hit a bunch of bad storms and rain from tropical storms leaving and then returning back to FL.
Casino not so Good. Machines very tight. We have to say in all our years of cruising, this was one of tighest casinos we have been on. There were maybe 1-3 hand pays the entire 6 days from playing slots, I actually asked the host on the ship. But we are looking forward to booking a future URComped trip. Thank you Jessica.

Most employees on the ship were very friendly. Casino needs more Poker Machines. Drinks were sparse and the bartender at the Casino Bar was awful. Very slow and ignored people at the bar.

Modern and sleek ship
Ship was very modern, the service was excellent!!! Enjoyed the Sunset bar! The well never went dry. Casino is small and machines a bit outdated. Hopeful that Covid restrictions will soon lift the availability of slot machine types.

Horrible service
Don't try and get anyone to help you if you're handicapped, especially if you need a drink in the casino. There were no servers for hours at a time. And, wheelchairs don't fit in this tiny casino. I won several small jackpots but gambled almost $10,000 to do it. Won't sail on the Equinox again.

I noticed that the machines paid out more by the sounds of the bells, it's usually right after the shows ended in the theater

Small Casino but enough to keep you busy
We had fun on our trip, only 1100 pax onboard. I wonder about play availability when ship is full? We got some nice hits and I got a handplay on Fortune Gong machine

Amazing Ship & Crew !
Overall I really enjoyed the Celebrity Equinox ! The entertainment on the cruise was Broadway level !! The food and service was great too . Ok now I must say I was a little disappointed with the size of the casino and the selection of games need to be updated . Night after night the same old slots got boring . The drinks were great ! If they get new slots I would go back .

Clean, Tasty and Fun
The Celebrity Equinox was our first trip with Celebrity… The food was extremely good, service top notch and bar service very very good. Several people stood out for their personal touch and I would rate the cruise as 4.5 stars. A couple of improvements would be movies under the stars (outdoors), a chess set on board (really no chess board🙄) and the casino slots were extraordinarily tight.
All in all, great cruise and we’ll be back on Celebrity!

Great time!!
We had a great time on the Equinox! Wonderful food, ok entertainment! Casino very small! Casino host Silva seems to be very nice, however a bit disorganized! We were charged for drinks twice while playing in the casino. After speaking with Host twice and guest relations the charges were removed! Over all we had a great time playing in the casino. I won about $1,000 playing in casino, however I lost it all! Thanks U R Comped! You are awesome!!

Delightful first Celebrity Cruise
Perfect weather and great staff made this cruise one of the best trips to the Caribbean. The casino host (Sylvia) was friendly and ensured a great trip with extra comped slot tournaments and cash prizes for active players. The ship Captain was AMAZING! She is heading to the Edge after this cruise. Didn’t see a lot of big winners on slots but all players seemed genuinely pleased with the Casino - ready for my next offer on Celebrity!

First Celebrity Cruise
We just returned from a 7 day Caribbean cruise aboard the Celebrity Equinox out of Miami. The ship is due to be refurbished in June, so even though it was comfortable, it should be much improved in a few months. Great, almost broadway caliber, production entertainment most every night. Food was cruise ship average but I did like that they always had escargots available and the buffet was open from 6 to midnight.
The casino was large and it’s staff friendly. The slots were so-so. Our largest jackpot was $600. The table games, with one exception were $15 minimum. I like to play $5 craps and build up, but I adapted and came back with more than I took. We
